Worked as advertised.9/15/2016 6:09:21 PM

Pros: Low profile 1G NIC, and a good price.

Cons: NONE

Overall Review: Purchased this for my VMware ESXi 6.0 box as a second NIC, installed the card and powered up the box, VM found it and I was up an running. Card came up a 1G. All is good.

Works for me!9/15/2016 5:09:44 AM

Pros: Inexpensive - It worked as specified for VMWARE/ESXi, I have found no issues with using this card. NIC was easily identified and came up as a 1G on the VM OS.

Cons: None

Overall Review: A lot of the home pc mother boards are using the Realtek NIC card. Apparently VMWARE has dropped support for these NIC's after ESXi 5.1 going forward. I needed to build a second ESXi 5.5 U3 box so I purchased this card. Installed it and then install the ESXi OS, it found the card no issues and it worked fine. So I decided to download and install ESXi 6.0 and try it. As with 5.5 U3 my 6.0 install was successful and the NIC worked no issues. Saved me a lot of headache in trying to work around the Realtek issue. Being that this NIC is supported by VMWARE ESXi, I now ordered a second card for the 6.0 box.

Inexpsensive Optical Mouse7/17/2016 5:41:35 AM

Pros: It works.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I purchase two of these as backup to my currently aging devices. Ended up giving one to my daughter for her old ACE laptop and put the other on my laptop. We both use Windows 7 and after windows identified the device and installed the driver they both worked. Shipping was amazingly fast considering it comes from China.

$$ SLAM DUNK RAID ENCLOSURE7/9/2016 7:36:09 AM

Pros: Shipping box is well designed to protect device from most shipping problems. Device itself is strong and well built and looks nice. Comes with all the interface cables as specified in the description. Also comes with all screws needed to mount the HD's into the individual cases. The online overview says "up to 2 Terabyte capacity (8 TB maximum total) Fully enclosed, Hot-swappable hard drive" and that is what I was going to put in however, I had (4) 4T HD's laying around and decided to see if they would work in a raid 0 setup, I was pleasantly surprised to find it worked. Connected it to my WHS2011 (via esata) and the OS found it and I was able to backup my server data after configuring it via the Windows computer management tool.

Cons: The biggest con would be that while the picture shows a power cord with the unit, the enclosure does not come with a power cord or at lease mind did not. I had several of the PC style cords laying around so no big deal to me. Not a big deal but each HD has to be inserted into a case which adds in slowing down the HD installs. I was concerned that putting HD's in these little coffins (as I call them) would impede air flow and cooling. However I have not had any issues so far, cooling appears adequate.

Overall Review: I needed three HD enclosures of a type like this and the price was right so I decided to just purchase one first and evaluate it before jumping in for more. I purchase this device on 05/01/2016 so I've had it for a couple of months now with no issues running (4) 4T's raid 0 setup. So I purchased a second one on 07/01/2016 which has arrived and I will be using in a raid 5 setup with (4) 4T's as well. If this works out as I suspect I will be purchase at least one more. The only cooling provided is from the large internal fan for the power supply and a secondary small fan beside it. There is no way to change the fan speed or adjust the cooling level but it appears to be ok, the unit is not hot. I have not tried the "Hot Swap" so I don't know if that will work. Over all dollar for dollar this has worked out very will for me, only time will tell if the power supply will hold up.

Price vs Quality Good10/27/2014 2:48:28 PM

Pros: The 6ft cord length is excellent and the sound quality is very good for an inexpensive head set. The headset as a volume control to allow easy +/- volume setting. I have used the mic on Skype several time an no one has completed so far about the sound quality or volume. Comfortable and light weight make this a $$ bang for the buck item.

Cons: The 6tf cord must be unshielded because it constantly coils no matter what I do. If you plug it in and just it down after a short time you will see it start to coil up. It seems to have no effect on performance but is it amazing to watch.

Overall Review: For the price it is worth the pocket change.

Great Shaver for Price7/31/2014 6:15:52 AM

Pros: I only have to charge it once a weeks. Cuts close and smooth to the skin. I can get a good shave in just a couple of minutes. Triple blade action is nice. Easy to clean after use.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I was looking for and inexpensive electric shaver and found it in this one. This shaver is easily worth twice what I paid for it.

Free TV Channels7/26/2014 11:23:31 AM

Pros: It works, very easy to setup, after running the TV scan for channels it came back with 45 digital channels and 1 analog channel. Channels are clean and sharp for HDTV some 1080p, some 720p, and a couple are 480i.

Cons: None

Overall Review: You can go to antennaweb.org and put in your zip code and it will give you a map of the TV Stations in your area. For me it showed "up to 45 channels from 19 over-the-air stations" within 7 miles. I went thru the channels and found some good oldies like gun smoke. I seem to have gotten a little of everything as far as stations. Not bad overall, I am now seriously thinking about cancelling the cable TV portion of my service and just keeping my internet. Which should save me about $50 a month. This one time purchase my save me $600 a year.

Money well spent2/11/2013 10:59:22 AM

Pros: Excellent water cooler system, with the AMD stock cooler my FX-8150 temp was 49c idle and just got worst doing anything. After I installed this water cool system my temp dropped to 33c idle with an avg of 38c – 40c full load. No over clocking. I’m very happy with the temp change and no longer worry about the cpu being damaged by overheating.

Cons: Sad, the included documentation is some 30+ pages or more yet only 2 pages are for the installation per language. Seems like they were more interested in getting as many languages in the manual then in the quality of the instructions.

Overall Review: Some people complain about the quality of the fans that come with these systems but I had no such issue. Fans worked fine in a push/pull setup and are so quite I can’t even hear them. Even with the poor doc’s it was pretty easy to install.
