Pros: For international travelers this unlocked phone does everything you need to do at a very good price. It also is easily rooted to do even more using a custom recovery and custom operating system. I have used this rooted phone side by side with my wife’s Iphones (3gs & 4 AT&T not jail broken) and I prefer the Nexus One. In had a 3gs and jailbroke it and always had some problem so I gave it to my stepson and got the Nexus one.

Cons: The battery must be controlled by the user verses the Iphones manages the battery better. The Nexus One comes with multitasking verses the one task Iphones (later improved multitasking). The Nexus One’s battery can easily be changed verses Iphones requires a technician task with special tools. The Nexus one does not have a front facing camera verses the Iphones 4 however it’s not an issue for me.

Overall Review: Newegg has excellent service that you can depend on with good prices. If you start with Android smart phones you will prefer them. If you start with an Iphones you will prefer them unless you like being in control of the device.
