Disconnects when using USB3
Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk 3TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive
Pros: Hasn't failed on me
Cons: Constantly disconnects when transferring large or many files when plugged into a USB 3 port. Have to restart the PC to get it to recognize this unit. Constantly makes clicking and scary beep noises
Overall Review: Avoid this overpriced and unreliable drive.

Pros: Lasted longer than the other reviews!
Cons: Reliably dies after 1.5 years.
Overall Review: Never had a laptop hard drive die before. First time for everything!

Fails when using USB 3.0

Pros: USB 2.0 works 3TB
Cons: USB 3.0 fails after moments of transferring
Overall Review: See other reviews here and other places. If you connect to a USB 3.0 port, you have a very high chance of transfer failure. This is basically an expensive USB 2.0 case.

Overall Review: setup took a little bit of time, but there are video tutorials on youtube which helped.
