Grrrr Tech Support
Pros: Controls memory overclocking well, lots of cool features. This with e6300 and memory listed below is a ridiculously fast combination. My main purpose is photo editing
Cons: Tech support wont talk about overclocking. Board will not overclock beyond 5% cpu speed without not showing a post. *** you must purchase an esata to sata adapter (3.99 on newegg) to get RAID to work. Raid will not work strictly from SATA on MOBO; one plug has to come from the back. bios upgrade a pain in the rear (still haven't gotten it to work, even after talking to tech support.) none of their cool software works on vista. Considering RMAing... But all in all, my main gripe is not being able to overclock my processor.
Overall Review: works great with this memory: OCZ S.O.E 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) I am writing this on the system with it running at PC2 6400 (400mhz). This thing is so fast that I don't really even need to overclock, but I want to be able to....
Worth the Money
Pros: Battery life is amazing. Audio quality is very good with solid bass performance. Can easily use these frequently and charge in 8+ days. (Haven't charged theses yet after initial). Controls work well. Price is great. Range is awesome - 30+ feet, through walls etc. Bluetooth is so freeing. Syncs perfectly with Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Cons: Speaker's high frequencies need gain. I do this by using Equ - a iOS music player with full eq. Bluetooth voice pickup is muffled according to my caller. Sounds great in my ears tho. Sound skips for first 20 seconds connected to my ipad every time. My big beef with these is that I thought the noise canceling would be always on and actively cancel out environmental noise. It doesn't.
Overall Review: In spite of my gripes, I still use them daily and really like them. Rarely use voice on them, so muffled is ok. Would def buy again for price/value ratio.
Just buy it...
Pros: Its a cable.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Measure twice, cut once.
Beautiful, painless, bliss
Pros: Great memory for Asus P5b-vm. Runs just fine at PC2 6400 (400mhz) (even though my mobo only gives 1.95 volts max).
Cons: Price maybe.
Overall Review: I was disturbed to find that my system shows that I have 2 gigs of usable memory. I though from what I read that my two gig sticks would turn into one gig at 128 bits... If I had known this, I might have considered going down to two 512 sticks. I mean... really I don't do gaming, just photo editing. Well, at least I should be good for a while.
Fast... FAst... FASt... FAST!
Pros: hmmmm... FAst, Cool, Schnazzy Fan that fits in my tiny Antec ARIA case
Cons: none
Overall Review: I use this for photoediting and it along with my gig kit dual channel memory and sata II hard drive make editing RAW files a quick experience.
