Nicely Done

Pros: Works very well for the gaming that I do. I only run one 24" 1080p monitor for gaming and I play everything at ultra with physx. Out performs the crossfire xfx6870 I had before. I play Batman AC, Shogun 2, Civ 5, Dirt 3, and Batman AA mostly. Loving this card
Cons: The first one i recieved was doa. sent it back and the second one has been rockin since.
Overall Review: This card was and excellent upgrade from my crossfire setup since my new board wouldnt let me use the two 6870s. Runs very cool even under load and I would recommend this to anyone that is gaming on a single monitor or willing to lower settings on multiple screens
8 gigs of goodness

Pros: This is my second set of these for 16 gig and I love them. Dropped them in with the others on my asrock z77 pro-m and 3570k. running all 16 at rated 2133mhz and proc at 4.3 with no extra voltage. getting 7.9 on wei in win7 for those that watch those numbers
Cons: none
Overall Review: my last set was mushkin and I didnt think i would change from that brand cause they worked great. But i upgraded my system and wanted faster ram and these were on sale so i tried them. I dont regret it at all. I recommend these to everyone i know that has a system that can handle them
My new standard

Pros: Very fast and quiet. Got it on sale for 70 dollars and wish I had got one sooner.
Cons: Expensive. Got to wait for it to go on sale in order to get one
Overall Review: Have done the ssd thing for the last couple of years and got this for storage and games. Upgraded to the new z77 chipset and wanted to try the cache drive. Worked great with and crucial c-300 that I had lying around. Keep this as my OS drive and the c300 as cache and cant see myself changing back. No ssd tweaking, or relocating folders. My samsung 830 now runs my games cause i dont see much difference in speed. But alot less headache keeping everything in my system happy.
Excellent Board

Pros: I run my 1090t and mushkin blackline overclocked and two xfx 6870 black edition graphic cards in crossfire without a hiccup. I couldnt have asked for a better board. Was considering the ud5 but dont regret getting this one.
Cons: internal board temps run alittle higher then ee=verything else but still well in safe zone
Overall Review: this board does truly handle everything well, and complements just about any case. I have used gigabyte in my last couple of builds with no dissappoint, and this one was no different
5830 Replacement

Pros: The card performs very well. It replaced my 5830 and very happy with the decision. Temps are a little higher but alot better card.
Cons: didnt come in a twin pack
gives me chills

Pros: this thing dropped the temps from 34 degrees C to 28 at idle and it never gets over 40 with full load doing video encoding.
Cons: the original fan was less then adequate for single fan setup for me.
Overall Review: changed the fan with a better cfm one and i run a single push fan that blow out the back of my case instead of in it like they tell you to do and i get very good temps with my setup. I adjust my fan control and it keeps it between 28 and 40 degrees C and my fan never hits 100 percent. my system: Gigabyte 790xta-ud4 phenom II x4 965 3.4ghz 4gb ocz obsidian 1600mhz pny geforce gts 250 1 tb wd caviar blk, 2 tb wd caviar grn h50 water cooler antec two hundred case 2 asus dvd-rw drives Ultra LS1 650w supply
