No graphics and that's just fine
Pros: Fantastic little CPU. I had a first gen i7 processor 2 years ago and recently bought this 3rd gen Ivybridge and I am very impressed. This CPU is more then enough for anyone who plans to do PC gaming or render graphics.
Cons: No integrated graphics but that was stated in this CPU's description and I don't even think they are needed.
Overall Review: Having used intel's intergrated graphics on other computers I've never been much of a fan of them. For laptops they made a massive leap forward by making them switchable with higher end graphics to increase battery life but for a desktop I don't see any reason not to just go out and buy a graphic card since you dont run off battery power. Still a fantastic CPU and a good price.
Beware the wifi card!
Pros: Super fast, playing everything I threw at at perfectly. Light weight and easy to carry around. Really was an amazing laptop that just had one crippling flaw.
Cons: The wifi didn't work right at all. Could not get a signal in my room and had to place laptop in same room as router just to use it. No other device I have ever used in the room has ever had this issue. I tried updating drivers, changing the setting for the wifi, checked wires and they checked out fine and even installed windows 7 and still had same issues. The 7260 intel wireless card is plagued with issues if you google it. I couldn't even play my MMO for more then a couple seconds without a disconnect. Amazig laptop crippled by te wireless card.
Overall Review: If they fix the wireless card in future models then the laptop is a beast that you can take anywhere with you. As its stands I am getting a refund and buying a different slim gaming laptop.
Fantastic Cooling
Pros: Corsair makes a fantastic product with their H series cpu cooling. I used their H50 when it first came out back in the day and it cooled my i7 pretty well but this H100 is on a whole different level. Keeps my stock ivybridge i5 at 50C or less even under prime95. I would highly suggest this to someone who wants high end cpu cooling at a good price. Also on a side note: the way this product is set up you can easily swap out CPU's without that much hassle. This is a big deal for people who want to upgrade later or test a lot of CPU's
Cons: I would like to see better and or more fans with this cooler. the 2 it comes with work fine but for 100+ bucks I would like to see 4 of them.
Overall Review: All in all a great CPU cooler. Corsair always make a good product.
Wow
Pros: My first modular power supply and I am amazed. Looks great and has more cords then I need (always a plus). The carrying bad for the extra cords is very handy as well.
Cons: NONE! Everything I hoped for and more.
Overall Review: Powerd my ATI Radion HD 5850, i7 860, 3 HD perfectly. Plan to crossfire the 5850 soon.
Amazing
Pros: Runs everything I throw at it perfectly. Love the design and the double lifetime warranty. Free copy of Dirt 2. Played it and its one of the best looking games I have ever looked at.
Cons: The 5850 and 5870 are such elusive card to find had to settle for black edition is regular was sold out (No regrets at all though)
Overall Review: I plan to crossfire this as soon as I get the money. I will always buy XFX now.
Awsome Case
Pros: Perfect for everything I needed. Lots of space with plenty to spare. Fit my Radeon HD 5850 card with room to spare.
Cons: The hole behind the motherboard for mounting CPU coolers was a little off. I was installing a Corsair H50 Liquid Cooling on my Asus P55 MB and had issues getting mounted with the hole. Wish the front fan was blue but I can live with it.
Overall Review: All in all works great for my needs and setup: Asus P7P55D Motherboard i7 860 2.8Ghz (OC to 3.33Ghz) Corsair H50 Liquid Cooling 4GB DDR3 Kingston RAM XFX ATI Radeon HD 5850 Black Edition Corsair 1000watt Modular Power Supply LG DVD-RW Burner 1TB WD Caviler Black HD
