Pros: Everything you need, and much more!
Cons: Maybe a bit too much for the casual photographer.
The suscription makes it expensive for anybody who cannot claim it in his taxes as a cost, not to mention the fact that you loose everything when you stop it...
Overall Review: I would recommend it to a pro. I would tell the casual photographer to think twice...
Pros: They do a good cooling job.
Cons: Installation is not a big deal. I did it without a problem on an LG 1150 and an LG 1155 board.
That is of course if you can decipher the documentation provided. This fit all piece of ..., I mean paper, does not help at all. It certainly could be improved!!!
Overall Review: READ carefully the stupid piece of paper until you finally understand it. THEN, AND ONLY THEN, you can play with the hardware which is well designed and fits correctly.
You may want to get an other PWM fan mounted on the other side to replace the original which will block the first memory slot on some Mobos.
Pros: The weak point is my rig is the CPU, an I7 4790K which gets only a 7.8 rating. The rest is all 7.9...
Ran on first boot.
Cons: Who, in his devious mind, conceived that piece of s..., (Oups excuse me! I meant soft) which is provided on a CD. Do yoursel a favor: download the drivers and the trash the disk! The applications are worthless.
Overall Review: The layout is not the best... The SATA ports are difficut to reach especailly with a GTX 760 which requires two connectors fed by 3 PCIe cables.
The RAM bank is too close to the CPU. Any decent aftermarket cooler will prevent you from installing a RAM bank in the closest spot. You can solve this by getting a fan pulling on the other side of the cooler and removing the original one. (4 pins, PWM)
Pros: Cheap. Works fine.
Cons: By the time the speech recognition finally understand what the heck you are taking about, you could be a great typist!!!
Overall Review: Learn to type!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Excellent card.
Physical installation is not that difficult. This card needs a lot of energy. You will need a 6 pins AND an 8 pins PCIE cables with a solid power supply ( 750 W preferably).
Booted the computer and before I could do anything else WIN 7 64 had found the driver and installed it.
One little detail: I told you it needed a lot of energy. It does not use all of it and in the summer time will provide you with plenty of extra heat.
You can't have it all...
In normal use it remains pretty cool. If you play a fancy game in Ultra mode, it delivers great pictures and heat. Only then can you hear the fans.
As usual ,Newegg rocks! Ordered Sunday, delivered Monday evening...
Cons: Now the bad news...
The EVGA rebate procedure is as usual designed to confuse and get rid of a good portion of the applicants.Too bad: I was not impressed and I finally made it through.
To get the famous Watchdogs game is also a nuisance, Complicated and confusing procedure. Ubisoft has a pale copy of Battlenet that they want you to use. Registration and unlocking of the game are also a pain...
The graphics are excellent.
Great engineering and poor commercials
Overall Review: Buy it anyway. It is worth it.
Save money for a small air conditioning unit!
Pros: I have a 2410 and a 2412.
One of them is much more expensive than the other one.
For the usual applications, i do not see much of a difference...
Now, if you put a serious video card behind these monitors and go in fancy territory, there is definitely a difference.
Conclusion: At this price it is a seal!!!!!!!
It is true: it is not perfectly silent!
At times it hums! It took me a while to realise the monitor was the culprit!
Not a major problem, unless you work in a perfectly silent environment.
Overall Review: I have been using Dell monitors for more then 10 years and had several of them replaced undre warranty.
Dell was always courteous and, with a deposit of $ 25 to cover the return shipping replaced the questionnable monitors with monitors of equal or better level. One came unmarked and it is only when the driver loaded that I found it was a better one...).
One last word. Do not think that these big monitors can do their best when you support them with a lousyvideo board. There is no miracle....
Pros: This one replaces a 120 GB on my main.
The first one was on an old HP DV7 1130us which is now super.
I used the cloning soft without any problem on all conversions, including the cloning from 120 to 520 GB.
Not a single glitch.
Cons: The price!
Overall Review: On second thoughts, when I read the reviews of the competition, I think this was well spent money....
Pros: I used this one to upgrade an HP Pavillion DV 7 1130us with VISTA 64. The computer is now running WIN 7 Home Premium 64 and Office 2010 without any problem. The original disk is now used for data storage. TRIM works nicely.
Cons: Still a bit pricy. But, you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: I have been using the 120 MB version for months now on an other machine without a hitch.
Pros: Good card, but....
A bit touchy.
INTEL support is very good.
Cons: DO NOT update your Bios to version 35. That update is only necesary for those who are using a processor with 22 nm tech. It killed my mobo...
This was the second one. The first one had a failed SATA 3 outlet on the board.
Intel replaced the two boards, the third one is working fine (with the BIOS version 28!)
Overall Review: It is a bit of a nuisance, but I still would buy this card again
Pros: Dirt cheap
I plugged it in in my computer with Win 7 64, it just works.
You do not need special drivers.
I also installed the soft which came with it. It works nice too. I you have a problem, start looking at your computer or other softs...
Cons: None so far
Pros: Excellent product.
NMy case ahd a small defect: the front USB3 outlet was only working in USB 2. I Emailed my problem and received the spare part through Fedex at no cost. No fuss just simple and efficient.
Overall Review: Too bad Newegg does not have eggs for support. These guys deserve a five
Pros: Exscellent camera, but....
Cons: It has a known incompatibilty with WD Smartware in WIN 7 64.
In other words, the installation is terminated with a blue screen and a memory dump.
Elementary: update your WD Smartware to the latest version...and reinstall.
I had to call Logitech and find a nice guy to learn it.....
Overall Review: Maybe this caveat could be published somwhere...
Cons: Ridiculous price for the capacity and the performance.
SATA3 or not, it is now the slowest item of your computer, and by far.
Correction: it is not a workhorse, it is an ox.
Pros: One of the few 4 pins fans. It means it can be driven by the Mobo and run oly as fast as required to maintain the desired temp instead of running like mad all the time!
Overall Review: THe result? LOW NOISE.
Pros: but it works and it is dirt cheap....
INTEL DH67BLB3 and I3 2105.
Installation without a hitch under WIN 7.
Overall Review: Not a con. Just a limit: 1333 only. But it is also a limit of that Mobo, so it is a perfect fit. ( Perf at 7.1 )
Pros: Screw it in, plug it in, insert the WIn 7 in the slot, power on. That is all you have to do. After that you can use the INTEL disk to finish the job and you are done!!
A cheap, but quite capable board. The card video is not bad at all! It can drive a 31" monitor at 1680x1050... The card sound is also quite acceptable. If you really on a budget, thei si the way to go.
Cons: Micro ATX says it all... The card is a little cramped. The video card is very close to the memory slots. With a little bit of patience, ....
Overall Review: Not an overclocker. Memory DDR3 at 1333....
Plenty of cables.
Optionnal cables allow a much cleaner instalation.
Cons: Mounting the PSU ont eh bottom of the case requires, in principle, to have the air intake on the top. (ANTEC 302).
Unfortunately, the processsor power cable is too short....
I have an other worry. The Intel hardware monitoring soft reports voltages with are on the high limit for seveal of them.... ( INTEL DH67BLB3 and I3 2105)
Overall Review: I have two other CORSAIR Professionnal PSUs and never had any problem with them.
Pros: Good quality. A little bit on the light side.It commes complete. Cable routing is fine with a limitation (see below)
I personnally prefer 4 pins fans which can be controled by the MOBO.
Cons: A little design flaw.
There is no hole above the Motherboard for the processor power cable. Positionning the Mobo, half an inch lower and providing holes would be very useful.
An other one:
Not every power supply can be mounted with the air intake on the top because of cable length limitations. The bottom of the case has a filter. Fine? No: this filter can not be removed for cleaned up without removing the power supply...
Overall Review: It is nice to provide 2 PS3 outlets on the front panel. My Mobo (Intel DH67BLB3) does not have the corresponding pins.
A big thanks to ANTEC! I called and the answer was: We will ship a converter to you at no cost.
Just a little problem: "As soon as we receive new ones, we are out of stock..."
Might be a good idea to include it in the case kit....
Cons: Not cheap..
Pros: Cheap and reliable.
If you are using one of those huge CPU coolers, this one is for you. I use 2 pairs on an INTEL DZ 68BC mobo at 1600.
Pros: Installed without a problem 4 of them. I did respect the pairing, i.e. I did install the first two that came together in the slots 1 and 3 of my mobo ( Intel badax 2), and the other two in slots 2 and 4.
Immediatly recognized by the BIOS and timed by the book
Pros: Installed witout a problem. FAAAST!!!!!!
Intel Tool box
Cons: A little dirty trick with the Intel rebate. Unless you choose the "expedited" payment ( with a cost) they just postpone it by several weeks!!!
Really cheap for a company that size.
Pros: I have in the past read a lot of complaints about the packaging of hard drives and I fully agreed with them!!!. This time, the packaging was excellent. The hard drives were packed in buble wrap in separate boxes, which in turn were packaged with foam peanuts in the main box. The drives worked perfectly.
Overall Review: I hope Neweg keeps it this way...
Pros: Excellent case!
The front panel is different, but it looks pretty much like the HEC case.
