FANTASTIC GRAPHICS CARD
Pros: Large Heat-sink / GPU Cooler, runs very cool when gaming Fans are very quiet Additional third year warranty when you register you product with XFX Excellent price when compared to NVIDIA graphics cards
Overall Review: I replaced my EVGA 1050TI OC Edition graphics card in my Ryzen R7-1700x with this card and it blows the NVIDIA card away in every performance category for gaming.
OK BUDGET CASE
Pros: Low price, fast & free shipping.
Cons: Very flimsy metal. This case is the the exact same chassis as the MSI S-6812. The rear 8mm fan that is included with the case has the standard molex connector so it will not connect to the motherboard fan connector without an adapter. Two of the motherboard standoffs are plastic and not the typical metal standof that accepts a screw to secure the mothboard down.
Overall Review: It's ok for a budget build but I would spend the extra $10 and get the Cougar Mini-Tower gaming case. It is buit better, includes a 120mm rear fan and has a more modern look.
Good idea but BAD implementation, I would not purchase this mobo!!!
Pros: None other than it supports DDR2 & DDR3 memory and AM2 & Am3 CUPs
Cons: I knew this before I purchased but you should be aware that you can't mix DDR2 & DDR3 on the motherboard. Depending on what type of memory you have will require a apecific AM2 or AM3 CPU. I purchased this to be a test mobo for testing various DDR2 / DDR3 memory or AM2 /AM3 CPUs when troubleshooting clients systems but this mobo was not reliable from the start. This mobo locked up no matter what I did and I installed known good hardware from my other testbed. I would avoid this mobo unless it is absolutly your only choice.
Overall Review: Motherboard locks up intermittently with known good components. I checked for BIOS and driver updates however there were none newer than waht was included with this motherboard. I did check the ASROCK web site for support and this motherboard appears to be one version old, this is a 1.03 version and they have a 1.04 version out which has a differnt brand network controller (Qualcomm on 1.03 and Realtek on 1.04 version) the audio controller is also different (Realtek on 1.03 and VIA on 1.04).
EXCELLENT PCI Wi-Fi ADAPTEr
Pros: I have installed over 20 of these Edimax PCI Wireless adapters during the past year and I have not had one failure or DOA adapter. They all perform perfectly with no connection issues. All of the systems that I installed this adapter into are running Windows 7 64-bit. On Windows 7 systems make sure you install driver version 184.108.40.206 for best performce, the driver date is 2/18/2013. You can get this driver from Microsoft update. Also if you are doing any gaming or multimedia make sure you enable the Multimedia/Gaming setting in the Advanced Tab under the Adapter properties, it is disabled by default.
GOOD BASIC POWER SUPPLY
Pros: CABLE LENGTH IS GOOD, THIS IS A GOOD BASIC 600W POWER SUPPLY. I HAVE NSTALLED SEVERAL OF THESE IN LOW-END BASIC GAMING SYSTEMS AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. AFTER REBATE I GOT ThE POWER SUPPLY FOR $38 NOT A BAD DEAL.
Cons: NON SO FAR
Overall Review: WARRANTY ON THIS POWER SUPPLY IS 3 YEARS NOT FIVE. OU CAN VALIDATE ON CORSAIR SITE. •Builder Series (Models CX430, CX500, and CX600) have a 3 year warranty
