Great Bag1/20/2015 9:28:37 AM

Pros: * Well Padded * Spot for thicker notebook as well as a sleeve spot for tablet or something similar * pouches for accessories, power cords, and a document zipper pouch on back, 3/4 have zippers. *stylish *Second flap inside that keeps the laptop and tablet sleeves secure so nothing will easily fall out even if it is jostled.

Cons: Front flap zipper and compartment extend up to the top of the flap, so smaller accessories in this pouch get stuck up there sometimes and you have to dig around to find them.

Overall Review: Overall, a great bag. I love the vertical form factor, and it's easy to cjavascript:Biz.Feedback.RateProduct.Form.submit('display')arry on the go - airport, to/from the office, etc.

Good card1/26/2012 4:56:41 PM

Pros: Cheap Fast Good performance Overclocks decently

Cons: Loud Fans - they aren't too bad at idle & 40%, but once you put a load on these cards, the temps go up to the 70C range, and the fan can DEFINITELY be heard as the loudest item in my computer. Heatsink is not attached to memory modules

Overall Review: Overall, great value card. Got two for $99, running in SLI and they will outdo any card of equivalent price and more in that range! Can't complain for the price, but the fan speed and no heatsinks for memory cost an egg.

What a dream1/26/2012 4:51:18 PM

Pros: Corsair cases completely spoil you. This case is polished, and makes putting a system together fun again. Edges are rounded, almost everything is tool-less. Awesome. Fans run smooth and quiet (video card is the loudest component in system, and everything is staying nice and cool. Negligible difference in temp on low vs high, just keep it on low unless you need the extra CFM through your case. Case looks awesome. My wife said it looks "spacey" - I'll take it as a complement. Oh! YOU CAN TURN OFF THE LEDs. I love this. Also, the pop off top mesh is awesome, not just for being able to put in a radiator, but when you are building/moving stuff around, you can pop it off and there is a lot more light inside the case - more visibility = good!

Cons: Front fan filter is not removeable, it's attached to the front of the case with metal tabs. You could remove it with a lot of work, but it's not made to be removed like the bottom filter is. Bottom drive cage has to be removed via screws underneath the case, so you have to put it on its side to really do any work on these drives.

Overall Review: Neither con is worth taking an egg. I was torn between this, a Rosewill Blackhawk, Thor V2, Coolermaster Chaser MK-I, and this. Looking back, I am glad I decided to go with this one. No regrets, just get it.

Not really modular.1/13/2012 10:17:50 AM

Pros: Quiet, Solid construction, cables are plenty long enough and specs are great for serious gaming.

Cons: This is NOT a modular power supply. +12v, motherboard plug, 4 molex, 4 SATA power, and 2 PCI-E power connectors are all bundled together on this power supply and are NOT removeable. That's right, if I don't need any molex power plugs on my right -- too bad. You will just have to zip-tie those up and impede air flow on our "modular" power supply.

Overall Review: Disappointed with Corsair's deceptive marketing. Even most pictures lead you to believe this is a modular power cord, showing you additional cables/etc. There are four additional plugs, 2 for additional PCI-Express cables (Crossfire/SLI), and 2 for additional molex, Sata, or CPU +12V power.

Awesome heatsink - did not have mounting issues like some.9/29/2010 3:18:31 PM

Pros: This thing has done a great job in my low air-flow HTPC case. -Great build quality, super smooth mounting finish - includes heatsink thermal great if you don't already have your own - Fan is SUPER quiet at mid-low speeds.

Cons: - heatsink fins are very sharp. There's a warning in the box to wear gloves so you don't cut your hands up, haha! - Would love to have a mounting solution that screws down from the bottom of the motherboard. This would give it 5 stars hands down. - Instructions to ensure mounting points are secured is not very intuitive

Overall Review: Get yourself a long flathead screwdriver with a narrow shaft. Do not try to use one of those all in one screwdrivers, it will not fit in the clearance you have available to press the mounting screws in. The screws came ready to be pressed in place, but you do need to make sure that none of them rotated during shipment. Then just carefully apply downward force until they snap in place. I recommend installing your memory before this heatsink - you may find you can't access the first stick to remove/insert after this is in.

Great case, Great deal. Not great Cable management9/29/2010 3:08:53 PM

Pros: -Case build quality is excellent for the price. -Fan filters on all incoming fan mounting points -tool-less - really! (Except power supply) For me it is a pro that they only included one 120mm fan since I want a quiet PC so would end up replacing noisy fans anyway.

Cons: - included 120mm fan is a bit noisy (not the noisiest I've seen by far!) - no access on opposite side of case (behind mbd) for cable management on back. No room to really fit cables to route to top of case from behind. The was not as much space in this one after you get the power supply and other cables run as some other cases but there's still plenty of space, even for a fully populated case. - The way you mount the top fans, you cannot really use rubber mounts to ensure no vibration.

Overall Review: This case is great. There is enough room for all your power supply cables so you don't HAVE to go modular unless you are very OCD about it. Just have your container of zip-ties/velcro strips handy and take your time with it. ATX motherboard fit without any issues.

Great fan9/29/2010 3:00:05 PM

Pros: Great acoustics. Even at 1000RPM this thing is hardly inaudible from a distance of more than a few feet.

Cons: The power cord has both standard molex connector and 3 wire header for motherboard connection. Would be nice if there was a part number that had just the one so I could use my fanmate controller without macguyvering it in a roundabout circle to get it functioning. Not really a con though, just personal preference.

Overall Review: Highly recommend any of these fans in 80, 90, or 120mm. Hard to beat the acoustics on these!

No fan needed!9/29/2010 2:56:30 PM

Pros: What a great product. You really don't need to worry about this thing overheating. The efficiency is ridiculous. I have this inside of my somewhat compact HTPC case, inside a cabinet with very low airflow. The left rear quarter of the PC gets a bit warm to the touch, but never gets too hot with limited airflow. Very impressed.

Cons: The packaging is impressive, but I would have rather spent $10 less and not gotten a velvet bag to store the modular cables in, or a velcro bag for that matter as well.

Overall Review: Overall great product. You can't get any quieter than this silent power supply. Plus it's got top numbers to get the 80gold certification!

Memory Works, Great!9/29/2010 2:53:31 PM

Pros: This memory worked like a charm on my MSI H55-G43 motherboard. Has run memtest overnight - 16 hrs no errors, running at advertised speeds and voltage with no issues. Memory does not have tall heatspreaders, good for cases that have a large heatsink like mine. Fits under the big shuriken from the test, but did not leave in this slot since 1-3 slots were further away from CPU.

Cons: for CL9 RAM at 1.5v, there are some others that are cheaper - they were not on my QVL though.

Overall Review: Also ran at 1.6v for a small amount of time with no errors. did not extensively memory test this configuration since it was just a bootup where I forgot to enter bios to change default voltage values.

Worked, but not at 1.35v9/29/2010 2:48:47 PM

Pros: The memory itself appeared to be working properly, however even though my motherboard listed this RAM on it's Qualified Vendor List for memory, it was only tested in an OC configuration running 1.5-1.65v. The memory at 1.35v was not supported on my motherboard (MSI H55-G43). I exchanged this for some 1.5v memory and everything worked fine. Also. despite one of the other reviews, this should work with i3 processors as far as I have experienced...

Cons: Not all motherboards support 1.35 volts, even if on the QVL make sure you check if it was run at rated 1.35v specs or if it was higher.

Overall Review: I love the idea of manufacturers getting in tune with some of the niche markets for silent, cool, or just eco-friendly PCs!

Manufacturer Response:
. Dear Customer Thank you for your G.Skill puchase and review. You are correct in that only certain motherboards are capable of 1.35V DRAM Voltage. Currently, the AMD 890 chipset and Intel P55 chipsets are those that are most compatible with this type of memory. Although, many users with other platforms have reported no issues. But to avoid any possible problems, stick with 1.50V memory if your motherboard does not fully support 1.35V. If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly. Thank you GSKILL SUPPORT Quality and customer service are our top priorities. Tech Support Email: ustech@gskillusa.com RMA Dept Email: rma@gskillusa.com G.Skill Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

IR Blasters Rule!10/16/2007 2:01:05 PM

Pros: Dual IR Blasters for dual cable box control. Extremely simple installation

Cons: IR Receiver is a bit large, definitely noticeable on top of my set.

Overall Review: Would like the ability to only purchase the blasters, as I already had an IR receiver built in my case. Either way, the IR receiver works extremely well, and using this set is the only way that I know of to get prev. channel to work in media center. I didn't need the remote but did program my Harmony 880 for it, working like a champ now.

Almost perfect9/13/2007 4:48:41 PM

Pros: Ergonomics for trackball and holding the keyboard are great. Trackball and left mouse click both at your fingertips while holding the keyboard naturally. You can actually move browse with just the one hand if you don't need to scroll or right click! RF > IR by far for picking up commands through the coffee table!

Cons: Sometimes a few of my keys will not work at all. (N, M mostly, sometimes B.) Nothing in the way of the keys, removing/reseating batteries doesn't help, next time I use it they might work. Probably need to get it replaced before the warranty is up! Already mentioned issues of NumLock light, Fn key turning on numlock and frustrating some users. Slight delay for fast typers, letters will get skipped if you don't slow down a little bit.

Overall Review: This is perfect keyboard for my HTPC! Guests pick it up and can learn the functionality of it without explanation - it's quite intuitive to learn and get used to the sensitivity of the mouse and keyboard delay.

High Quality Clutter9/13/2007 4:31:37 PM

Pros: Quality construction to go with my Silverstone case. Each output has it's own cable all ready to plug into your board. Card Reader capability is perfect for all formats I have tried.

Cons: With so many outputs all singly wrapped, it gets a bit cluttered with so many cables!

Overall Review: Works fine for me, audio on back and front work without any issues. Good item and newegg delivery times rock as usual.

What a Champ!9/13/2007 4:28:08 PM

Pros: This unit is great! It works perfectly and has some real potential should I ever choose to bump it into the 400mhz bus speed range!

Cons: It doesn't have quite the high multiplier like the 6x00 series for overclocking - darn plastic is a pain to tear apart and get to the goodies inside! :P

Overall Review: Great choice for anybody that wants a fairly priced performer - no need for me to get the quad core as all this PC is for is gaming and I won't see enough benefit to justify the extra cost.

Good performer for price9/13/2007 4:11:14 PM

Pros: The drive has the additional cache and is SATA, exactly what I wanted. 3 year warranty too!

Cons: The drive makes a bit more vibration than other 7200RPM drives I've owned when idle. When actively seeking the noise goes away completely.

Overall Review: None.

Works exactly how I hoped.9/13/2007 4:09:15 PM

Pros: Black. SATA. High speed & burns all formats I need.

Cons: The box had a lot of little packing peanuts that were statically clung to the bubble wrap. Those darn packing peanuts

Overall Review: What's there to say, it's a SATA DVDRW drive. I've made 1 DVD and 2 CDs with it, both flawless. It's OEM so expect no cables or software.

No complaints!9/13/2007 4:06:37 PM

Pros: Plenty of power connections, 3 rails guarantees my system will not be lacking power that I need! More power connectors than I will probably ever need in my system

Cons: So many power connectors that I'm not using can equal a little bit of case clutter. Also, the Secondary motherboard connector cable is a little bit short for cases that mount the power supply on the bottom, which is becoming more popular with cases that would attract the caliber customer this unit normally does.

Overall Review: A little bit of time with your cable management and you'll have a solid power supply and a case that doesn't look bad at all for power and airflow. The price was right too with a mail in rebate that was available when I purchase.
