Decent card for non gamers

XFX Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) 512MB DDR2 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card HD-545X-YNH2
XFX Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) 512MB DDR2 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card HD-545X-YNH2

Pros: Plays HD well for streaming. Obviously quiet but also stays fairly cool. Handles windows aero very well. Low power requirements.

Cons: Definatly not worth buying if you plan on playing games. I would only suggest this for someone low on cash with only basic computer needs.

Overall Review: As always with XFX this card has a nice look to it.

OCZ Vertex Turbo 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-1VTXT60G
OCZ Vertex Turbo 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-1VTXT60G

Pros: Really really fast. It cut my boot time by over 25 seconds. Anyone who has a nice rig going but hasn't picked up a ssd yet, you don't know what you're missing. you'll never want to boot off of your old hard drive again. It brought my windows experience index over 7

Cons: I had to buy a bracket but that was only like $8.

Overall Review: It would not be too constraining to put two 30gb in raid 0 for a little bit extra but it's nice to have room to play with. I have windows 7 64bit and a decent amount of programs installed and i still have 40gb left. I install games on another hard drive to save space. My rig: Core i7 920 @3.2 ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Sapphire 5850 6Gb DDR3 Dominator @1600Mhz 60Gb OCZ Turbo SSD 3Tb Storage V8 Heatsink HAF 932 Case

Foxconn A74ML-K AM3/AM2+ AMD 740G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Foxconn A74ML-K AM3/AM2+ AMD 740G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Good budget board. I bought it for a build I did for my cousin. It has everything a basic computer user will ever need. Support for AM3 CPUs. 4 SATA ports and an IDE. 3 USB headers.

Cons: Not the nicest looking board. Obviously for this price range it isn't about being top quality.

Great case for the money

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE

Pros: Decent cable management. All black interior and exterior. Tool-less 5.25 and 3.5 bays. 4 USB + eSata on the front panel. Good fan options for side panel.

Cons: Front panel seems kinda flimsy. PCIE slots aren't tool-less.(not that big of a con)

Overall Review: Good looking case if you're doing your first build or if you're building something cheap for a friend.

Great budget PSU

Rosewill RD400S, 80 PLUS Certified 400 W Power Supply
Rosewill RD400S, 80 PLUS Certified 400 W Power Supply

Pros: I've purchased a few power supplies from Rosewill now and I haven't had any problems. They certainly aren't top quality but they get the job done for cheap builds. The connectors are solid for this price range. It's also nice to see a cheap power supply that isn't plain gray/

Cons: Bare minimum amount of connectors. Cable length could be a problem for some. Just remember that this won't be good for powering anything high end. I use these to build budget PCs for my relatives.

Got a bad batch but I love em any way

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C8D

Pros: These are really fast. For most people they'll handle anything you can throw at them. They are easily overclocked. Very sexy design compared to old green sticks or many other brands. Corsair has an excellent reputation as far as reliability(despite my incident) and their customer service is wonderful. XMS profiles make it simple to get these up to specified speeds.

Cons: Had to give them 4 eggs because the first set i had 1 bad stick and then completely failed shortly after I bought them. I sent them into Corsair and soon after I received a new set. Popped those in and could not be happier.

Overall Review: If your RAM isn't running at specified speeds please don't jump online and start writing a bad review. You have to do it manually. If you don't know how to do that then you shouldn't be buying RAM of this quality in the first place.
