Works as expected

Pros: Good product. Works as it should. Good value and price.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Using an Asus K8V SE Deluxe board. When I referenced the memory for this board on other sites, it comes up saying it needs server memory (72 instead of 64). If you're trying to decide which to use, use the desktop memory for better stability. Reason is because the server memory is ECC, and the desktop is non-ECC, which runs better. Going to get another stick in near future.
Works well, but a bit noisy

Pros: Drive works well, but it is a bit noisy when spooling up. Nero software was awful...caused problems in my other machine. Even stopped my microphone from working! I uninstalled the software, and got it working again. Tried a free DVD burning program (DB) which works very well.
Cons: Nero software didn't work. To make matters worse, the software is only a trial...you have to buy the complete package after 30 days. Not what I expected from Nero software.
Overall Review: Drive does what it should. I could stand for it to be a little quieter, but at least I know its working ;). Try the free software if Nero doesn't work.
Great Card!

Pros: This is a great card! Got it this afternoon, uninstalled the onboard sound drivers, and installed the card. Be careful on connecting the SPDIF cable for the DVD. It can be bent easily. Installed the software, and WOW! Great sound! I have a set of Altec Lansing ADA 885 speakers, and I've never heard them sound so good. Sound in game is great. Play IL2 1946, and it runs great. No problems with stutter or framerate. I also use a set of Plantronics Audio 770 headphones. I use the analog connections, because I can't run both the USB and the speakers (want to hear the speakers...good rumble). It sounds great with the digital set on 44 khz and the spekers set on Quad.
Cons: Only complaint is that the package didn't have a paper manual, and the card wasn't very secure (not pushed down well). Not a problem...card was in great shape.
Overall Review: Buy this card! It is a great sounding card, and doesn't seem to have any framerate issues.
Excellent Case - Buy it!

Pros: I didn't buy this case from here (nowhere to review at other store), but thought I'd put in my 2 cents here, in case you're trying to decide on a good case. This case is an icebox. Installed Asus K8V SE Deluxe board, Antec TruePower 430 ps, Liteon dvd burner, floppy, ATI 9800 pro card, and have yet to go over 120 deg F, even with fans on default settings. Very quiet, well built, and lots of room. Takes some time to route wires correctly, but if you read the directions, and look up information on the web for this case (a wealth of info and tips on it), you'll do fine. Love the quick-install clips for the drive bays. Pull-out bays are great. Don't see any sharp edges in case (I'm a machinist, so I know about sharp edges on metal). My first computer build, and very happy with how it went.
Cons: HD lights are hidden, but doesn't matter anyway...no place for SATA hookup on this board, anyway.
Overall Review: For those of you who have read reviews of problems with this case, here's some tips. The door DOES open 270 deg. Open the front door, and gently grasp the grill/hinge it is mounted on at top and bottom. Just push gently with your thumbs, and it will swing open the rest of the way. As far as the side panels go, when you open the panel, remove the thumbscrews, slide the panel backwards till it stops, then swing the back out. If you try to just pull it out without sliding it backwards, it will break. Case is well built, quiet, and well ventilated. Highly recommended. May be buying another soon, since the rebate offered is even better than what I got...might set up the second (older) machine with this case, in order to have 2 quiet machines, instead of just one quiet, and one that sounds like a windtunnel with a turbine in it ;)
Great drive...very quiet and fast

Pros: Runs very quietly. Installed in an Antec P-180 case, with Asus K8V SE deluxe board. Very fast, even though it is jumpered to 1.50 Gb/s instead of 3.0 Gb/s. Can barely hear it run.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: As fast as it runs, can't imagine how much quicker it would be on a newer board. XP didn't want to recognize at first, but once I let it search for it, and installed the sata drivers from the floppy, it worked just fine, even though XP calls it a SCSI drive. Not running raid, just straight sata, with no problems. Highly recommended.
Works well

Pros: Works as it should.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Drive works well. Still necessary to have one of these installed, in order to install certain drivers. Cheap investment, and well worth it.
