Great Performace for price
Pros: Only $35 after mail in rebate Easy to install Keeps CPU nice and cool Looks Nice Hasn't Leaked
Cons: None, unless I don't get the rebate
Overall Review: I have this cooling an a10-6800k processor in a rosewill challenger case. I have the radiator mounted against the case where the rear fan goes and the included fan blowing cool air through the radiator and out the back. So far it works great and has my processor idling at 27-29 degrees celsius and max under load has been lower 40's but usually stays mid 30's while gaming, and this is using the included thermal paste.
Sleek and budget friendly but encountered problems
Pros: -Price -z97 chipset -Had all the features I was interested in -Being able to read error codes onboard was nice -Nice to look at, black with black I/O shield
Cons: -First board arrived faulty, sound was not working. -Cost about $15 to ship it back for RMA -Spent lots of time troubleshooting that I cannot get back -Had issues with CPU cooler mounting (PLEASE READ OTHER THOUGHTS)
Overall Review: Ok so what happened to me was, like the reviewer below, my CPU cooler (which was a CM Hyper 212 plus) was shorting out two of my DIMM slots. I don't believe it was because of the weight of the cooler, it was from the metal backplate causing a short. So I reinstalled the cooler using a spare backplate I had from an RMA and carefully made sure that no metal was contacting the board when installing and the DIMM slots started working. Just be very careful when installing an aftermarket CPU cooler when using this motherboard.
