Sick AF card!

MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO 10G LHR
MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 ATX Video Card RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO 10G LHR

Pros: Runs flawless out of the box. Runs cold for RTX cards, 38 C idle, 65-67 C full throttle Looks sleek AF despite the normally bulky designs of these cards Excellent price for the amazing performance Didn't need a support bracket, yet it comes with a pretty nice one made specifically for the card.

Cons: Takes 3 PCI-E cables instead of the normal 2. Had to doublecheck to make sure my PSU had the required sockets first. Truly massive. Had to make sure my case was big enough. MSI won't let iCue or other brand RGB software control the card. Refuse to have more than 1 RGB controller installed and running.

Overall Review: If you're looking for an amazing 3k series RTX card? This one's absolutely amazing. Nice middle-ground option, not cheap bull****, but not the fanciest of the fancy either. It runs cool right out of the box. MSI Afterburner will certainly help later, but at least for me, I didn't even have to fiddle with the fan settings. It did have to ship from China, which kinda sucked, as it was labeled as ships from United States, but it flipped it to China when I refreshed the page and didn't show it, so it took well over a week more than I had hoped for it to arrive. Still, it barely took 2 weeks. From China, in Covid season? That's pretty lit. I have no true cons to say about this card so far. Though I did just get it, I will edit my review as needed, should the situation change. If it's been a few months and you don't see me editing the review? Assume it's still running smoothly with no problems. All in all an amazing card. Victory to MSI, this one.

Excellent Board

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: As of 4/2/2020, still running flawlessly. Had several upgrades in the last 5 years and there's yet to be a reason to replace it. Fantastically long-lasting board.

Cons: Zero

Overall Review: I know this board is no longer in stock due to being too old, but I just want to let anyone who might stumble across it to know what they were missing. After 5 years, this board is still running seamlessly and has yet to have any complications whatsoever. Every upgrade I make, including brand new ones, fit the board like a charm. It's absolutely spectacular how well this board is put together. 11/10 would buy again.

Confirmed to Work on Steam

NVIDIA GIFT Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
NVIDIA GIFT Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Pros: It works on Steam! In case you were wondering, getting this does not mean that you only get one download, and then can't get it again should it fail to install or something! Using this thing with Steam was a breeze. Just go to their assigned website to redeem it, and it'll ask you to log in to Steam, and bam, it's added to your library, just like that. Super easy, and super legit, really nicely done!

Cons: It doesn't say 'works with Steam' or something along those lines, anywhere. Might be confusing for people who get it!

Overall Review: The game's flipping baller! Couldn't have asked for a better gift from Nvidia. Thanks guys!

Little known seller but perfectly trustworthy!

I bought an RTX 3080 from tcvnd on accident. It was initially set to be from United States but I guess a glitch in Neweggs website or something made it flip over to a chinese based seller instead? Whatever the reason, I wasn't happy, and at first, I was extremely worried, as I've had some bonified horror stories with shipments from china; vanishing packages, fake advertisements, refurbished-but-sold-as-new scams, etc. I've had it all happen, and thus I was extremely worried when this 4 digit sum card had to fly in from overseas. But thankfully, tcvnd came through. Despite some anxiety increasing problems with a non-existing tracking number, and some problems with the tracking info not updating properly(making me think the package was either gone or not shipped at all), tcvnd were ready and willing to respond to any messages/worries/concerns I might have. They put my mind at ease and when I asked them to update the tracking information, they were on top of it instantly. Less than a day later the tracking info was updating properly and I got the package 1 week later. It was expected to show up at some point before January 4th, yet this package appeared on my doorstep at 1pm PST on Dec 15th! That was LEAGUES faster than both UPS and tcvnd had promised. Card showed up in an intact, unopened box, with all the manuals and the anti-static sleeve and the unbroken/blemished black signature foam around the card. The card was 110% brand new as advertised and it worked perfectly out of the box. For those who would rather read the short version: Chinese seller, but don't worry. They're honestly perfectly trustworthy and ships out packages WEEKS in advance to make sure they make the deadline. This is one of the good one guys. Have no fear if you have to buy something from these guys!
