ARMA II

Arma 2 PC Game
Arma 2 PC Game

Pros: Great game Feels real Plenty of ways to approach a situation Massive armory and plenty of vehicles For the most part the bugs are non exsistant now Plenty of mods and a large community

Cons: The occasional bug is annoying but runs pretty well now The AI could be better but its better than most games Needs a good system to play well Takes practice and patience

Overall Review: When you have a quality machine running this game its really stunning. Graphics blow me away and the game feels very real. A must have for people who enjoy simulation over arcade!

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Fast & Affordable

Cons: Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium will not install on this drive. I'm currently using my laptop HDD and says everything is functioning properly with the Seagate drive. I checked the BIOS and it reads the Seagate drive. While in Windows 7 under My Computer the Seagate drive is recognized and formated NTFS. Ran HD Tune and Seatools and everything checks out properly. The drive will just not get recognized for OS installation.

Overall Review: I'm stumped. Not sure what is wrong with this HDD. I've ran this by plenty of forums with no solutions. I would love to use this drive as it runs HD Tune with really nice speeds but it just won't install the OS.

Great for mainstream

Intel Core i3-2100 - Core i3 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Dual-Core 3.1 GHz LGA 1155 65W Intel HD Graphics 2000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I32100
Intel Core i3-2100 - Core i3 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Dual-Core 3.1 GHz LGA 1155 65W Intel HD Graphics 2000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I32100

Pros: Affordable and very fast. Dual core with 4 logic cores pushes the chip far ahead of any other dual core out there. The chip stays very cool even with the stock Intel heatsink. The fan is actually silent. Which was a big surprise after reading everyone else reviews. Runs everything I throw at it with no problems. Perfect for HTPC's and casual gaming PC's

Cons: Can't overclock

Overall Review: Perfect for my HTPC i3-2100 Gigabyte H67M-D2-B3 Sapphire 5670 Antec High Current 400W

Solid HTPC card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5670 1GB DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Graphics Card 100289-2L

Pros: Needs no connections other than the motherboard. Runs all my casual games such as BC2 and Mass Effect maxed out or very close to maxed on 1920x1080 resolution. Hooked up to my receiver by HDMI and runs HD video and sound flawlessly. Very happy about that! Drivers are great as of 4/29/2011. No issues whatsoever.

Cons: Won't work if submerged in water

Solid HTPC board

GIGABYTE GA-H67M-D2-B3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-H67M-D2-B3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: No issues with install or booting. Enables 1155 CPUs to use their onchip graphics. Although it leaves much to be desired. The resolution is 1200x1050 on an i3-2100 and the video lags while watching movies. I advise buying a dedicated graphics card unless you just plan to surf and listen to music. Most likely a great OC'er but I can't say for sure since my i3-2100 is locked. You already know it is though. Its Gigabyte! Hosts SATA 6GB on two of the SATA headers while the others are standard SATA. Works fine for HDD's and Optic drives on 6GB headers. Plenty of USB ports on the back. The box says the USB is 3xUSB (whatever that means) I suppose its just optimized USB 2.0 but don't quote me.

Cons: No USB 3.0

Overall Review: If you are looking for a HTPC board this is a great choice.

Solid PSU

Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-400 400 W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Runs well and powers my HTPC with ease. I originally had only one case fan running and the PSU fan going. The case got really warm but no power issues. Since, I've installed more case fans. PSU is running cool and efficiently.

Cons: Its the loudest thing in my HTPC. Although its not that loud at all. Its about as loud as a constant hum. There aren't a whole lot of cables but its only 400W anyways.
