Great for 3d Games

XFX Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card HD-487A-ZDFC
XFX Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card HD-487A-ZDFC

Pros: Great for playing WoW and WAR on a 36" HDTV. Max'd all settings and no graphics related bottlenecks. Very Quiet, even under load (Crysis 2/4)

Cons: None

Overall Review: Wondering how hot they'd get running two in Crossfire.

Most Critical Review

Failed after 3 months

OCZ Agility 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2AGT120G
OCZ Agility 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2AGT120G

Pros: Fast, Quiet. Only installed Win7 Home Pro(x64), WoW and SIMS3 on it. Used roughly 30 hrs/week for mostly gaming and was great for boot times and game transitions.

Cons: Failed HARD after 3 months. Purchased 12/23/10 and installed everything around New Years weekend. Ran great until it stopped working completely on 4/9/11. To make sure it's the Hard Drive and not the P67 - I pulled it and tried it on different PC's in the house - nothing will even recognize it's existence.

Overall Review: Married it to; ASUS ENGTX460 (Fermi) 768MB GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin G.SKILL Ripjaws Series DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Ocz Contiues to Disappoint

OCZ Agility 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2AGT120G
OCZ Agility 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2AGT120G

Pros: Ran Fast and Quiet.

Cons: Shortly after installation and loading the Win 7 and stuff the drive would no longer boot. Changed SATA ports and even tried it in other PC's and nothing, definitely a brick. And like everyone else - I never got my Rebate but let's be honest.. do any of us ever really expect them anyway? It's a known practice that companies make them almost impossible to get and at annual sales meetings they pride themselves on a 4% redemption rate.

Overall Review: OCZ Customer Service is ridiculously bad. Sent an e-mail to them with all of the pertinent information.. they send back an e-mail with a ticket # asking for the pertinent information. Get sent to a website and get told 'Please enter your email address or User ID and ticket ID: --------------------------------------------------------------------- This ticket does not exist or is closed. Please try again --------------------------------------------------------------------- I've graduated from being annoyed about the Hard Drive to losing any respect for OCZ as a company and I'm no longer confident buying anything from them.

Well worth the $$

Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K

Pros: Fast, Easily overclocks though the roof. Runs WoW, Office 2003 and 2007 and Crysis like champ. I sometimes Multi-box WoW - I can run 3 WoW sessions/toons at once and still have YouTube and Media Player all running at the same time (on dual monitors with 8 Gig of Ram and an ASUS GTX 460.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I went with the XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 for cooling since I knew I wanted to go a little closer to the edge with my OverClocking (why buy the 2500k if you're not going to OC, right?). Running at 4.5 (sedate, I know) it never even gets Warm. The chip runs really really cool even when overclocked. I'm sure the cooler is playing it's part but in hindsight, I'm not sure I needed it.

Solid Mother Board

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Solid, Stable. Reasonable price for options and such

Cons: Layout make installing a stock Intel cooler a little challenging

Couldn't recommend more

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6600
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6600

Pros: Fast Cool Affordable Easy to Overclock

Cons: None

Overall Review: I was an 'early adopter' and would gleefully pay that price again for the pure enjoyment this chip has brought me. Dropped it in an ASUS P5B w/ 2 Gig of OCZ DDR2-800 RAM and married it to an NVidia 7900GS card - Oblivion, BF2, WoW, Excel, Word... I can't make this chip so much as Blink unless I'm trying to do 14 things at once (Listening to Music while doing a defrag, Virus Scan and Video Editing/Rendeering just starts to push the CPU and RAM but really annoys the Hard Drives [I degrag one hard drive while Virus scanning the other.]
