Pros: Works great. Provide extra power (2 PCI-E 8 pin and 2 PCI-E 6 pin power connectors) to my oced system and ran everything with great stability. Product packaging looks very cool too. MODULAR PSU. You can forget the cable nightmare with other non modular PSU as this one you can just plug in the one you need. Save lots of space and great air flow. Did I mention its cheap too.
Overall Review: Asus Rampage Formula. Intel C2D E8500 @4.2 Ghz. 4gb Gskill DDR2 8000. MSI Geforce 8800 GTS 512 @814(linked shader)/1115 memory. 2 WD Raptor 74G in Raid 0. 750 GB Seagate 7.2 RPM 32M cache storage.
Pros: Fast speed, last firmware update increases speed even more!!!
Cons: SSD started to give me the dreaded blue screens of death couple days ago... Hard to reset the computer to fix it everytime. Happened once or twice every couple hours... Started to get very annoying... I google Crucial M4 5000 hours BSOD and bunch of people have the same issue.
Overall Review: I bought this drive due to the reliability as compared to Sandforce 3 SSD... Have been very pleased with it but now the BSOD is causing my to regret my decision... Why pay more for less speed (compared to Sandforce 3) and reliability is not there? I hope Crucial can give a fix to this BSOD issue via firmware update soon or else I'll start RMAing this thing and get a Sandforce 3 instead due to many professional reviewers who confirmed that Sandforce 3 BSOD is now fixed.
2 Patriot Wildfire in Raid 0
Pros: Very fast, windows loading within secs, games load instantly, everything becomes so much more responsive. Bought 1 at local electronic shop to test it out first and was solid from day 1. I then bought the 2nd one couple weeks later and now put them in Raid 0 for insane speed!. No freeze no BSOD! Great product. Both SSD came with latest firmware 3.3.2 so there is no need to update in my case. Another pro is that the SSD comes with 3.5 to 2.5 HDD drive bay converter and its actually Made in USA, not the made in China craps.
Overall Review: If your SSD firmware is not 3.3.2, make sure you go to patriot forum and download the latest firmware to fix the BSOD issues. Also, in case you don't know, this SSD use Toggle Nand Technology which is the fastest of all Sandforce 3 drives on the markets at the moment. (OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS and Muskin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe uses the same Toggle Nand Tech and same exact controller as this Patriot Wildfire - FYI)
Pros: Huge size for a computer monitor! Looks very stylish and I love the touch sensitive button. Sharp image and very nice color too. Comparing to my old samsung 22'' 226BW, this one is much better. I can play games now at 1900*1220 resolution, everything looks so much better. No dead pixel btw. For 370 bucks this monitor is a steal!
Cons: Doesn't come with a DVI cable, but no biggie i got an extra in the drawer.
Overall Review: Love this monitor, pair it with a good video card capable of gaming at 1920*1200 and you are in heaven! My HD 4870 is fully capable of that hehe. Can't wait to play some games!
Pros: This case is stylish and provides great air flow for your computer. Very easy to install HDDs in the removable panel. Price is cheap too as it is as good as the more expensive one out there.
Cons: Probably the only con I can think of is the size, it is not as big as the full tower but well it is a Mid ATX so I expect it to be like that before buying.
