Pros: Two fans keep this thing very cool, I like the open design better because I feel it keeps less heat trapped in the card case, even if it is being exhausted out of the back, once the back plate ports get dusty, that card will get hotter and hotter, runs very well, replaced a EVGA gtx280 that started PSOD'ing on my and so far I am very happy with it, bought a replacement plan, cause EVGA had a 30 day return plan which is bullcrap, I would suggest staying away from cards with such a short return period and also have crater'd prices, I got my 280 for $270 and now it is a $270 paperweight, going to RMA with NewEgg, hope they take care of my, cause everyone says they love NEwEggs RMA, first one after buying about 3 grand worth of stuff so lets see.
Cons: Yes, 2 Fans do make it loud, espically on 100% they are very noisy, but they also never go that high, only time I hear them that high is when my computer is first booting up. No other cons right now, hopefully this one holds out.
Overall Review: Runs Modern Warfare 2 perfectly on all high setting, at 1650x1080 I get about 87-91 FPS all the time. Bad Company 2 on the other hand is much more taxing, I get about 40-50 FPS playing at 1600x900 with 1x AA and 1x Filtering and textures all at medium cept for shadows on low. if you have questions about this card, find me on Steam as "2nasty.mick" or "2nasty.Micktorious"
Works well and cheap
Pros: Cheap and fast. 3 Eggs cause of con.
Cons: Cheap, one stick came dead.
Overall Review: Only ram I have for my new core i7 build, so I have to wait to RMA it cause they won't advance replace it, so I have to buy some wait for it to show up, then send the bad ones back, annoying.
Pros: Lots of headroom for future upgrades, Corsair is good stuff, modular design, long cables had room to spare in my Full ATX A+ Black Pearl case. Running SLI GTX 260's right now, but will be upgrading to GTX 580 in next month or so, eventually to SLI.
Cons: Can't think of any right now, I bought this cause Hurricane Irene burnt my last psu, which was a rosewill, which was weird cause the comp wasn't even on, and my GF was playing on her computer right next to it on he corsair HX 950 and hers was fine, I am also using a great $120 surge bar so don't know what happened.
Overall Review: Newegg is awesome, order this on Sunday at around 12 EST, and got three day shipping, showed up at 12 on Tuesday, Thanks NewEgg! 16 GB DDR3 Corsair Vengence Core i7 920 @ 3.9 MSI Twin Frozr OC GTX 260 SLI 3x750GB HD
Not good enough for the money
Pros: Looks awesome, love the design and overall aesthetic(sp?) appeal of the speakers.
Cons: Sound quality is not very good, highs are very tinny, mids are almost non existant, and bass is mediocre. Bookshelf speakers are so light I have a hard time believing they are actually speakers. Cables are very short, but not a problem for me, but for a lot of people it would mean buying extensions out of pocket.
Overall Review: I loved the look and thats what drew me in, honestly I have a 10 year old set of small cambridge soundworks 2.1 that sound better and they are 10 YEARS OLD. I would say to go with someone else, if they were 29.99 or less, it would be worth it. 2 eggs cause I still love the look, but sound is not worth 54.99, when i bought them.
Pros: Awesome heatsink, does a fantastic job of cooling my core i7. runs 40C idle, and 70C at 100% on Prime95.
Cons: Very Large and kinda annoying to install, constantly worried about bending sink fans, also the clips they use to attach the fans to it are very tight fits if using different fans than the ones supplied.
Overall Review: Only reason I gave it 4 because the sink is large and fan clips are very tight, also some ppl are telling me it should run at 30C idle, 60C load, but I dunno if they are being honest or trying to make their system sound tighter than mine.
