gets it done
Pros: if you have a Graphics card that blocks but doesn't use the PCI outlet this is perfect. Controller on the out side where you can get to it
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: put this right next the ZALMAN GPU fan. this really came in handy...as i was installing a new case fan on my older DELL 4500. the motherboard has a special 3-pin connector...I didn't want to cut the fan cable to is cut an soldered the old dell fan's plug to this fan controller.
don't do it!
Pros: Its keeping the HD temp stable in 80*F air temp
Cons: air flow is weak... cross flow what?
Overall Review: its not load, because its weak. it does have a tone that most might find annoying but its not load. I had to fix the front when I got it before it could go into the case. good concept poor execution
I finialy got my SLC
Pros: SCL (single level cell) technology
Cons: Its only 20Gb!
Overall Review: I originally wanted a SCL base USB flash drive sold in Japan. However this will due. The Intel MLC 320 is fast but hay I finally got my SLC!
2 in 1
Pros: 2 SSDs in one bay slot. make it easy for when I want to move them
Cons: the brass balled screws didn't really work in my case so used regular ones
Overall Review: I would get this if only not too mess with an extra pair of screws for each SSD
I finialy got my Cake er I mean Calibre!
Pros: The Calibre X560 Ti is a computing power house. Its factory over clocked. It runs cool when your not doing 3D stuff with it. Has a lot of extra metal to absorb more heat. The fan noise is standard even at max rpm.
Cons: This card can give off a lot of hot when playing 3D. I couldn't install a card next to it because its a little wider than the standard specification.
Overall Review: I was OK with the heat in the winter time. Actually warmed my room while I was playing Batman AC (everything maxed). I didn't have any problems with it over heating. I do think it will survive in the summer heat as long as I have enough fans in the case to get the heat out. I have owned this for 6 months. So far the fan noise is OK even with the side of the case open at max rpm. 680watt PSU;Core2 Quad overclocked to 3.2ghz;2 SSDs; 2HHDs; 8GB DDR2 RAM and everything runs stable. I also got this card to experiment with CUDA and GPU rendering. I'll be interested in the 600 series for my next PC build!
Gets it done
Pros: can burn Dual Layer DVDs at a good speed and is comfortably quit.
Cons: non so far
Overall Review: I haven't tried out the light scribe feature yet.
