Pros: Metal frame
Cons: The ports for the audio jack and microphone do not line up square. I was limited to headphone cords that had a smaller plug.
The rear cover is cheap, fingerprint prone, flimsy, and overall cheap.
The rear cover scratches easily.
The rear cover is not a tight fit. If shaken or if there is any pressure applied the cover will make noise.
Overall Review: This case is very clumsy to hold. A modern slim smartphone is now a clumsy brick.
If this case featured a properly fitting frame and had a steel or aluminum back-plate this would be a great product.
I ordered on December 26th and received on January 9th, shipping was free and took 14 days. This was a huge waste of time and money.
For $13 usd I expected better materials and tighter build tolerances.
reliable (so far)
Overall Review: The low price was an indicator that this was a gamble. Everything turned out fine though. I've been using it daily for about a week and it looks like it'll keep going for a few more thousand pages. So far this cartridge is on par with oem HP unit.
Pros: This is a very detailed case from front to back . Every metal to cable to metal juncture is secured by some sort of rubber grommet
The ATX power supply is at the bottom. There is an equal amount of hard drive and optical bay space
Cons: there is no hinged door
Pros: Gigantic, I cut it in half and made two. I Tried it with several laser mice (Logitech, Thermaltake, Microsoft), good tracking on all of them. Its hugs my laquered wood desk nicely and doesn't stand out too much.
Cons: what do I do with two mouse pads?
Overall Review: good value for your tech dollar.
Pros: The design and layout is great and accomodating for some nice toys.
- The case is under 6 inches tall with feet included. about the same dimensions as a PS3. It fits in nicely with other TV peripherals.
- Horizontally mounted PSU.
- 4 card slots: fits a full length and width vid card, wifi card, and aver capture card in the 1x slot
- Plenty of vents. 1 fan is dedicated for the hd tray, 1 very strategically placed fan for CPU
-panel cables are nicely labled and good length.
-the dvd panel/button work nicely.
competitively priced as well.
Cons: - The molex connectors are the cheapest around. they bend and break with simple usage.
- The front panel is prone to breaking, i Received this case with the front end completely broken off. it was held together with cheap plastic tabs. RMA'd promptly.
- There's a 80mm fan mount on the right hand side under the hd/dvd tray, but no 80mm fans can fit there.
Overall Review: Its advisable to remove the tray to install optical/hard disks. they can only be mounted from the bottom.
It does not allow to fit the Diamond ATI 3870 with stock cooler. Any fan that extends beyond the original height of the card with not fit in the case.
The damage mentioned above was partially due to the OEM lackluster packaging. This was shipped from CA to MA with one layer of cardboard and .5" of foam. Just fine for a few hundred miles, but not for cross country. The front panel is way to exposed and prone to breaking with heavy hits.
other notes: I assume the case was a previous RMA, there was evidence of hot glue, bent metal and bent tabs.
