Even when it lost its head, it kept its cool
Pros: Cheap. Fast (enough). Durable. Decent size. Durable.
Cons: A bit thicker than other jump drives, but that is the cost of durrability.
Overall Review: After about a year, general wear-and-tear and some bumps 'caused my drive's USB head to snap loose from the body. I pulled the drive from a computer, and the USB bit was still there. I just pulled it out, and stuck it back in - it still works great, even if it occasionally get re-bumped, and the computer thinks it got disconnected.
Does what it needs to!
Pros: I purchased this cable for my live weekly uStream.tv show - I needed to be able to move the camera around the room, and still have it connected to my machine. The 15' of slack was great, and the cable worked fine.
Cons: It works as it should with my Panasonic DVX-100b... but strangely, I've had detection issues when I plug in my Canon Elura 100. The Elura digitizes footage fine from my short 6' cable, but sometimes my system won't see it when connected to this cable. Not actually sure it's the cable though, so 5-stars for it the value.
Overall Review: It coils nicely :)
Media Works Fine, Nero 6 is another problem
Pros: I've bought 6 packs of these things so far, and have had about 25 successes out of the 30 I have already burned. The 3 coasters were due to problems Nero 6 had with burning DL discs. After upgraded to 7, I continued to burn perfect DVDs.
Cons: A bit pricey, considering the rebate can only be used once - works out to over $x a disc... Plus, 10 discs to a pack is too small, it would be nicer if they came in 50pk bundles - as they are now, I have a bunch of tiny purple spindles all over my room.
Overall Review: Work great - don't have to compress anything - just make sure to have Nero 7 installed (if you use Nero)
