Amazing card for an amazing price!
Pros: I will start off by saying that I only game at 1080p so please keep that in mind. This card is incredible, it is faster than the GTX 660ti and is faster than the GTX 670 in some cases. I'd say the performance is maybe 2-4% under the GTX 670 for almost $100 less. I was able to OC this card by about 100mhz with almost no noticeable difference in Temps (about 30c on idle 65c under load). The ACX cooler is fantastic it keeps the card cool and for a silence freak like myself it is amazing, so much nicer than the standard shroud style cooling solution.
Cons: I'm not sure how this card would do at higher than 1080p resolutions, but they do offer 3-4gb models. But chances are if you are doing 1080p+ gaming your looking more at the GTX 770-780 or ATI 7970
Overall Review: For the price and performance I can't recommend this card enough. EVGA really did their homework and have made a fantastic product.
Not what I was expecting...
Pros: Pros: + Great Design and overall look. + Easy install + Has many nice features like USB 3.0 + Cheap price
Cons: Cons: + Cheaply made when I plugged in the USB 3.0 header from my case into the board and later wanted to move it for cable management the entire 3.0 header broke off the motherboard and I did not pull it hard it simply just broke off the PCB. + No passive heatsink coolers on the VRM (This caused a HUGE ISSUE!!! See below) + UEFI is probably one if the worst I have used to date. Menus were clunky unresponsive and down right irritating.
Overall Review: I recently decided to pick up a new FX-6350 CPU because I'm on a budget. I saw this motherboard was a combo deal at another retailer and picked it up. MSI is pretty well known and I figured it would be a safe brand to go with... Man was I wrong.... I installed the board/cpu and everything into my case and it booted right up very nicely but that was about the end of it... I installed windows and completed all the updates, driver downloads, and updated the MSI software. When after about 1-2 hours of use I heard a hissing noise coming from my case... Strange... So I touched the top of the case and it was SUPER HOT I checked the CPU temps in Windows and everything was at about 40c which I suppose is acceptable after about 20 more minutes I powered off the computer and decided to check everything. When I popped the backside of my case off to my horror the power delivery on the PCD was bulging and the VRMS were scorched looking. I touched the NBridge and SBridge coolers and they were almost hot enough to burn me. Needless to say I pulled my CPU out of the board and returned it ASAP! Ended up with an ASUS and have had ZERO problems I should have just gotten that to begin with... Will slightly more cautious of MSI in the future...
Good sound, Bad comfort
Pros: + Sounded great (I'm no audiophile but these sounded very nice to me) + Feels very well made and durable + Ear cups have a nice shape and are designed to fit ears!
Cons: + Extremely hard and uncomfortable head rest. I used these for about 20 minutes before the top of my head started hurting so much so that I had to return them which is a shame because everything else was great.
Overall Review: If you want to spend the time trying to make the head rest more comfortable these could be great headphones.
