Pros: NewEgg made my return easy and painless. I got my refund today.
Cons: Did not fit my case. Looks slick and cool but I could not use it.
Overall Review: Please check your case specs before buying. The reason why this did not fit my case is because I have a 280mm radiator in front and due to how this case was designed. I hope someone else can benefit from the returned product. 4/5 eggs.
Pros: -RGB which allows me to adjust to any color I want
-120mm is just what I needed.
-Fits in my Meshify C
-Cool and Quiet. From where my computer case is, I barely notice the fans unless I put my ear right against the case and I game with headphones so I don't notice the ramp up.
Cons: -I am not sure about the other reviewers where one claimed that a fan died in 5 minutes. It has been over an hour and none of my fans have died. All 3 is working normally including the RGB.
Overall Review: Solid brand with excellent technical support.
Pros: -Has 8 ports. Perfect to grow into.
-NetGear reliability - Had no issues with their products.
-It was on sale at the time.
Cons: No Cons
Overall Review: I have this switch resting on my desk and it does not take up much space. 8 Ports is plenty room for expansion.
Pros: -Simple to Install
-Had to adjust to it but overall it is a nice comfortable chair.
-A much better step up from my hand me down office chair.
Cons: -Had rough shipping but all parts where there and not damaged.
Overall Review: This chair was worth my money. I like the adjustable features and no more sore back.
Pros: -EVGA is one of the strong competitors in the GPU market. Great quality and warranty.
This card is dual slot and has a backplate. It also has RGB functionality.
Cons: I have no cons to report.
Overall Review: I have no need for the RTX 3000 series graphics cards just yet. I was hunting for this card for awhile and it seems to be going out of stock a lot which means something. This card can handle my current setup of dual screens 1440p 144Hz.
Pros: Windows recognized my USB devices. No issues with speed or connectivity. Small footprint and does not take up desk space.
Overall Review: Highly recommend this product. It gets the job done if your running out of motherboard USB or have a small form factor PC and need to expand.
Pros: -Runs great. No hiccups on my z490-I ITX setup.
-Intel warranty and services.
-Branding and cool box. 8 cores and 16 threads are perfect for me.
Cons: None. All is working well. Even in the very first boot up.
Overall Review: AMD fanboys and shills will always find something negative to say. It seems to me they forgot the recent lawsuit for them as a company lie about core count. Don’t get me wrong, AMD made a comeback but they will always be playing catch-up since Intel is still
leading the way. I use my computer for mainly work and some gaming. Intel was always my choice. AMD never enticed me and their performance number still lag.
UPDATE_8/23/20 - CPU still performs as advertised and the platform has matured some. All is well. I do not overclock but even at factory settings, this CPU handles my workloads very well at fast speeds. Also, be aware of the non verified owners. Those people just want to write hate messages to prove their true ego. Don't let that turn you away from this CPU.
Pros: -Samsung quality and reliability
-Slim form factor
-Nice color tone
-Windows 10 recognized it
Cons: -Price - Yeah I understand that SSD's are generally more expensive that the hard drive counterpart but the cost per gigabyte for 2TB seems a little high still. Yes this SSD is more expensive than the other manufacturers but it is worth it in the long run in terms of technology and size.
Overall Review: I have been using Samsung products for 5 years now and they have never let me down in terms of any warranty work or support. Great company! This SSD is being used as mass storage and I have plenty of room to grow into it. This is faster than my Seagate Hybrid SSHD that I have replaced. Overall, this SSD will last me maybe 10+ years. Also, download the Samsung Magician software to keep up to date with the latest firmware and you can also monitor temperatures and other goodies.
Pros: - Sleek design.
-Has the new WIfI 6 wireless standard.
-ASUS reliability and warranty program.
- RGB M.2 heatsink looks good.
- Connectors and methodically laid out.
- Motherboard accents went very well with my system.
- Ran my i7-10700K with ease. Motherboard BIOS is update out of the box.
Cons: - This was odd but out of all the ASUS boards I have installed, this one required me to install the network driver out of the box for Ethernet. No biggie though.
- Not really a con for my case but for the 3 pin RGB header plus the 4 pin chassis header right under the heatsink, it was a little tight to install my GPU since I had to neatly route the cables but it all fit snuggly in place. There is a onboard audio connector there too but I don't use onboard audio. Just a heads up
Overall Review: As a long time ASUS customer, I am impressed with what they did to this new chipset. No issues with first boot and this motherboard speaks of reliability and longevity. If you are looking for ITX, give this board a try. I can't speak for other brands that offers Z490 ITX, but ASUS did a good job with this one. It was well worth the price.
Pros: -Easy to use
-Has enough for lots of applications
-Brand name and quality solvent
Overall Review: Nice size to keep on hand and it cleans off the thermal grease easily.
Pros: -Fractal Design quality and reputation.
-4 pin connection
Cons: No cons
Overall Review: Happy with this 120mm fan. I prefer 4 pin fans over 3 pin but that’s just me. This fan works great either as intake or exhaust configuration. Matches my build nicely.
Pros: -Pack of 3. What can go wrong?
-RGB illuminates nicely inside my case.
-140mm moves a lot of air. Using these fans as exhaust.
-Brand name and reputation.
-Quiet fans and they are 4 pin connections.
-Rubber corners dampen noise.
Cons: No cons other than price. But basically you are really paying for RGB.
Overall Review: I ended up using 2 of these fans and I have an extra to spare. Quick and easy to setup. RGB is easy to setup and the cords are easy to cable manage. Overall a great buy.
Pros: - The necessity paste to mate the CPU IHS to the cooler.
- Plenty of paste for many applications
- Reputable brand name
Cons: No cons. There are other brands out there that vary within a degree cooler. It does not really matter.
Overall Review: For the price it was worth it
Pros: -Color matches my build.
-No issues with BIOS recognition.
-16GB of awesomeness.
Overall Review: Never had an issue with GSkill yet. Usually I am using Corsair, Crucial or Kingston. But recently added GSkill to my list. Zero issues with using this company for a year. They earned a happy customer.
Pros: -Updated BIOS out of the box. Runs my temporary 3400G very nicely.
-Lots of room to grow into.
-Attention to detail was on point.
-Motherboard LED's are customizable and gives off a nice glow.
-Vast connection options.
Cons: -Placement of the audio connection. However, I have no use for it since I use my Corsair wireless headset.
Overall Review: I've been an ASUS customer since I joined the PC Master Race in 2013. They are known for quality and reliability. I do not overclock but VRM's are holding out. Board is very sturdy. ASUS R&D sat down and developed this board nicely. The Audio connection is in a silly spot but I understood why they did that since this is ITX after all. Had no issues with first boot. Highly recommend.
Pros: - "Blackout" Color theme matches my build.
-Easy to install. Fits perfect in my Fractal Design Nano S (Front Intake)
- Easily switch from Auto to PWN dial on the CPU block. AUTO mode is very quiet.
-Onboard connections for radiator fans. Perfect for ITX setups or any case setup really.
Overall Review: Been using Fractal products for about 2 years and zero issues with their products. I know if I ever ran into an issue, their tech support will be there to help me. Highly reccomend this AIO.
-Stealth memory kit
-Looks good in my X299 build
-A good alternate if you hate RGB
-Works great with Intel X299 chipset.
Cons: No cons to report
Overall Review: I never heard of Gskill. I am usually a Corsair, Crucial or Kingston customer when shopping for desktop RAM. Gskill has been good to me so far so I will add this company to my list for future builds and recommendations. I tried these guys once for my DDR3 laptop and it was great too.
Pros: -Color - I had a theme going on inside my computer this this color matches my build very well
-Fractal Design - No issues with fitment. I have a fractal Design case and decided to purchase this AIO to match. It will fit any Fractal Design case or any case that supports 360mm radiator.
-Quality - Solid build quality. Fractal R&D did a great job with this AIO. I keep it on Auto just for simplicity but you can turn the dial to PWM to further customize. The built in Fan splitter on the radiator makes it easy to wire. Instead of searching on the motherboard for a fan header. You only need a 4 pin connection on the motherboard an that's it!
-Warranty - Very good warranty period.
-Expandable - This is one of their biggest selling point. You can expand this to fit your liquid cooling needs.
Cons: No cons to report. It cools my 2700X ice cold no matter the workload.
Overall Review: I highly recommend the PC master race or PC professional to give this cooler a try. I have zero issues with it so far and it handles my day to day workloads with ease. Their team is on standby if I have any issues. A great purchase overall.
Pros: -It's Intel. I have not had any issues with their product lineups for 10+ years
-M.2 2280 length
-512GB capacity is plenty
-Great price (Grab while supplies last....)
Cons: No cons with this product to report as of 12/4/18. Holds my windows 10 and programs with ease.
Overall Review: Another happy Intel customer. The speeds surpass any hard drive and that's good enough for me and it is being used for my Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) BOXNUC8i3BEK1 Black Mini / Booksize Barebone System with no issues and Windows recognized it easily.
Pros: -Small footprint. Currently using it as a backup computer.
-ease of access to the internals via 4 screws at the bottom.
-Nice black/grey color scheme.
-Intel core i3-8109U (mobile CPU) included was enough for me.
-Case badge, Power brick/cable, Instructions and VESA mounting system included.
-Fan is quiet. No thermal throttling on light uses.
-M.2 Capable - I am running 2280 length M.2.
-Easy to install and Instructions are clear.
-Has a charging port to charge your phone or can be used as another USB (Yellow)
-Has audio out jack for headphones and MicroSD slot
Cons: No cons as of 12/4/18 - Everything is running great today. Got windows 10 and updated the BIOS and drivers. Very pleased and saves space on my desk. I doubt I will have any issues for years to come.
Overall Review: Intel engineers did a great job with this lineup. I was reading reviews from back in the day when some NUC's didn't have a power cord and some models has complaints of overheating. My NUC is cool to the touch and will serve as a backup should my main desktop go down. Please note this model is the M.2 SSD version.
Pros: -It's corsair. I had good luck with their RAM
-Vengeance lineup is nothing cheap. Solid quality
-Nice box/RAM color
-DDR4-2400Mhz (Max speed my NUC supports)
Cons: No cons. Got it installed and Windows 10 on my NUC recognized it. Corsair has a lifelong customer
Overall Review: This RAM is for my Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) BOXNUC8i3BEK1 Black Mini / Booksize Barebone System and no compatibility issues to report. All is well. Nice pricing too.
Pros: - Elegant design
- Fans plug right onto the radiator - Smart design
- 4Pin PWM Pump connector (unlike 3 pin from corsair)
-You can expand on it according to the instructions, which is very neat
- Included 2 fans are 4 pin and dead silent
- Auto and PWM adjustments. I have mines set on Auto and all is well.
Cons: No cons as of 2 months of use. It cooled my 8700k, 8086k and 9900k very good respectively. I reached max 66C on the package of the 9900k in gaming.
Overall Review: Fractal Design really blew me away with this 240mm liquid cooler. I will use their coolers in future builds. Best bang for your buck.
Pros: -Cool Box
-Neat case badge
Cons: -Mounting system is dated and was a pain to install
Overall Review: Installed this on a x470 ASUS ROG motherboard with no issues. When gaming I touched 63-65C with monitoring from Ryzen Master software. I am waiting for my AM4 kit to arrive for my H80i GT liquid cooler as I am not a fan of stock heatsinks. No instability whatsoever to report with a full days testing. 8 cores and 16 threads is plenty for me to grow into. Highly recommend this processor but just know you need a AM4 motherboard and a X470 chipset that is optimized for Ryzen 2. I cannot speak for X370.
Pros: -PCB Color has a nice quality to it and blends well with my case
-Onboard NIC/Wifi very handy
-Premium ROG Theme and other ROG features for gamers/enthusiasts
-Backed by ASUS
Cons: No cons. Never had any major issues with ASUS products.
Overall Review: The motherboard box is kind of big. In fact, its the biggest I have ever seen but I guess with the ROG lineup you get what you paid for. Overall after a full day of running tests, this motherboard checks out. I did have to flash the BIOS but that was not a problem. I have used mostly ROG products from ASUS and this one was top notch with no instability issues or DOA. It works fine with the Ryzen 2 so in my case, I used the 2700x with no issues.
Pros: -A generous step up from the GTX 1060
-Sleek high tech ROG design with 3 fans for cooling
-Variety of output connectors
-Cool adjustable LED and fans only kick in when your heavy gaming
-8GB of GDDR5X
-ASUS Reliability and Warranty
Cons: -Miners jacked up the pricing
Overall Review: This GPU requires 2 slots so plan ahead. Downloaded GPU tweak and running the factory Overclock mode. This was the best investment I ever did to my computer. i7-8700k+GTX 1080 = Awesomeness. No studdering, No tearing. Works very good on 1080p 144Hz ASUS ROG Swift PG248Q monitor. I highly recommend this company and this GPU to anyone. No issues out of the box and it was just a matter of plug and play!
Update 7/19/18 - I purchased a second Strix 1080 to run 2 way SLI. Do note the top card will get hot while gaming (Previous 1080 on top and the new ordered 1080 on the bottom) I had to add another exhaust fan and temperatures stay around 69 C while the bottom card stay in the 52-56 C max overall. Great cards to own in general. Keep an eye out for a sales on the 1080's. It is worth the steal!
