Pros: I don’t need blazing speed, from a performance standpoint it seems fine, no difference from my other 8TB/10TB drives. Really stable drive so far, 2 years into it.
Storage is awesome
Overall Review: I think the screws on the side didn’t fit so well with my case compared to the other drives. I just barely squeezed it in.
Pros: Rock solid as it is stated. I use this as one of the primary backup drives for my server (JABOD).
I did not hear any sounds that others have mentioned.
Overall Review: This is my 2nd drive, the first has been rolling perfectly for about 1.5 years. I'm starting to standardize on Hitachi at the moment.
Pros: Overall reliable - perform as expected.
Recommended by a few business partners
Overall Review: We chose this as our "go to" card for Fibre Channel connections. It is compatible with our hardware and has performed as expected for a few months now.
Pros: Bought about 15 of these so far this year, all have been reliable
No complaints really.
Cons: Nothing yet
Pros: extremely quiet, i have a WD drive underneath that was quiet already, this one sounds like it isnt on.
Cons: mine came with jumper set for 1.5gb/s instead of allowing 3.0gb/s, i had to remove/reset for better performance
Overall Review: i hope it is as reliable, that is the main main important thing.
Cons: * doesnt work with most card readers
* doesnt work with some cameras
* fuji support is clueless in supporting the product (in relation to the cameras, they tell you to call Olympus for card issues)
* Fuji repair said "doesnt really improve performance for fuji cameras"
Overall Review: I regret having purchased this garbage card. I have fuji F10 and replaced card once. Fuji had to repair the camera (took a month) to get card to work with my camera. (I already upgraded the firmware, it didnt help). Card doesnt work with all 3 of the generic XD card readers i have.
I feel like a leper, since most ppl seem to say they have no problems. Oh well.
Comments: GOOD: installs pretty easily, sturdy, 1 fan in this model. has light which is neat. comes with screws, etc.
BAD: does not really slide in correctly, you have to "jiggle" it to get the correct placement. annoying if swaping many drives out.
