understand what you're getting
Pros: very good price to performance value. Couldn't believe the Passmark score. https://www (dot) videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html Boost clock actually runs at 2550 out of the box
Cons: runs a little hotter than I'm used to compared to other cards I've owned.
Overall Review: I upgraded my system in October of last year, everything but a graphics card. I just couldn't justify the cost for what I would have gotten for a card, on my budget, because of the crazy market at the time. So I kept my old GTX1060 6gig and chugged along. This card obviously out performs the 1060 by a long shot. I play a lot of Battlefield ( 1, 4, 5 and 2042 ). Hands down paired with the Ryzen 5600x I have, really improved the game performance. They just run smoother. Understand what you're getting and understand how to compare products, do your research.
Pros: its 480 watts
Cons: this psu only lasted 8 months . The voltage readings always varied greatly and were never very stable. It also ran very hot , could have been because of the fan gaurds. Also is very light in weight. You get what you pay for , spend the extra cash and get a dependable unit.
ok at first- better after updateing
Pros: the 3 p's - price , price and price. Cheap ram upgrade
Cons: cheap ram upgrade
Overall Review: with money being tight I had to scrimp and chose to do it on the ram after purchasing a Ryzan cpu . I know, don't compromise, but sometimes the wallet makes us do it. Paired 4 sticks for 32 gig on a ASRock B550 Steal-legend board. Had to update the bios to get the 5600x to work on the board so I paid no attention to anything else of course because I got the system to boot. Second boot went to bios and set to XMP settings and pressed ok. System failed to boot. Long story short I could only get the speed up to 3133 not 3200. Disappointed but I'm used to that ( and I kept in mind all the bad reviews from everyone that couldnt get 3200). Well along comes BF 2042 and my system reboots everytime I tried to launch the game. Double P'od at this point. Updated bios and it took care of the crash problem but guess what.... the newest bios allowed for XMP to work. For once going cheap paid off. Moral of the story is update update update
Pros: This is such an awesome upgrade from my my old AM3+ system. Boots super fast and the LEDs on the board give it a nice touch. Dropped a 5600x into this and it chugs right along. Board runs cool and the two m2 sockets are a plus. Main m2 runs 4x4 and the second runs 4x2 and shares sata lanes so make sure you use sata plug 1 or 2 if needed.
Cons: no major cons that are critical to me at this point. edit as of 11/19/21 - bios update. Ran into problems with BF 2042. When launching the game the 2042 splash screen would flash then the system would reboot. Same thing happened with Apex legends but I just thought it was an oddity and moved on. Well I'm a BF fan so I needed to figure it out. After lots of troubleshooting I flashed the Bios with version 2.20 and that took care of the crash problem. System runs a lot better also.
Overall Review: I was skeptical after reading the problems with 5000 series cpus that people had. A little research and its cake to get running. Go to ASRocks website and download the 1.2 bios update onto a thumb-drive . On first boot press f2, go to the flash utility and update. Restarted and started gaming. See update on cons, but I still maintain you can drop a 5600x in and flash on first boot just use the newest bios version.
Pros: they were cheap, i knew it and thats why i didn't fell bad when I threw them away.
Cons: to tight, bad mic pickup and the sound was like you were trying to listen through a keyhole.
Overall Review: cheap enough to let your kids have them after they pull them out of the garbage can you chucked them into lol
not bad design
Pros: good setup for heat dissipation
Cons: power supply can be tricky to fit if you have larger psu
Overall Review: for the person that says there isnt clearence for the motherboard and case back plate ,may I suggest you use the spacer standoffs that came in the little poly bag. Getting real tired of seeing people mark " high understanding" when they should be marking average or low. To bad the egg doesnt screen these.
