Great Buy

TRENDnet TEW-632BRP 300Mbps Wireless N Home Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft 2
TRENDnet TEW-632BRP 300Mbps Wireless N Home Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft 2

Pros: I set this up in about 5 minutes, it was very easy. With WPA security I can get a steady 270Mbps accross my appartment. Nice rebate. My PC has a 802.11n adapter and my Labtop has 802.11b/g. Both have had no signal drops yet.

Cons: It is very light and feels like if it was dropped it would shatter inside, so don't plan on throwing it agains the wall. If you want to do that get a LinkSys.

Overall Review: Comes with software that allows you to set up you home network with file and print shares and all that stuff if you want.

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model LH-20A1S OEM BK

Pros: It isn't any louder than all the other drives I have had. This thing can and will burn anything for you.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Tray is solid. I have a different drive in another build that has a tray that flops around, this one is good.

Good Little Case

Winsis WM-06 Black SGCC/ABS Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply
Winsis WM-06 Black SGCC/ABS Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply

Pros: Small and cheap. I like the blue LED light. Lots of vents for airflow. Powersupply worked for me right off the bat. I also fit a 2nd DVD drive in mine, but I'm using a micro motherboard.

Cons: Metal is flimsy but the case with power supply is 35 bucks, what else do you want?

Overall Review: Just don't drop it or hit it with a hammer and you'll be all set.

Baggie Compound

Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G

Pros: This stuff is keeping my Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0Ghz at 22-25 degrees with a 10 dollar Spire CPU fan. You use a surprisingly small amount and it does the trick. There are great directions with pictures on their website.

Cons: 4.99 for shipping?!?

Overall Review: It came in a huge ziplock baggie.

Take the chance

Western Digital Blue WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Blue WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: After reading all the reviews about doa's I still took the chance and I'm glad I did. No problems for now and I can barely hear it running. Vista rated it 5.6.

Cons: No box, but wrapped pretty will with bubble wrap.

Overall Review: All you get is the HD so make sure you have your cables.

Testing it out

Spire SP515S0 90mm Sleeve CPU Cooler
Spire SP515S0 90mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

Pros: Great price. Square heatsink to fit a square cpu. Some cpu fans have circular heatsinks which doesn't make sense to me. Easy install with quality screws. Looks and feels like it is put together nicely. I'm running an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz even though the specs say it isn't supported. I figured for the price why not test it out and so far it has keeps it at 20-22 degrees. I haven't really pushed it yet but I have a feeling this puppy will handle it.

Cons: A lot of preapplied greese that I had to wipe off because I wanted to use Artic Silver 5.

Overall Review: Cooler Master Centurion 541 Mini Tower, 3 case fans, Intel 3.0GHz Core 2 Duo (no overclock) with Artic Silver 5.
