Possibly the greatest budget SSD for a system!
Pros: -Easy to install -Speeds -DRAM cache -Doesn't run too hot -Gold color
Cons: - 111GB usable (but still enough for OS)
Overall Review: I finally decided to get my first ever SSD and this one from Team Group fit the bill. It worked out of the box, my ASRock motherboard picked it up in the bios right away. Was easy to format, configure, & install W10 Pro right away! You get about 111GB out of the box. But that's definitely more than enough if you're going to use it solely for an OS. I use this SSD in conjunction with a standard HDD where I keep all my games, programs, & files. I ran a disk benchmark and compared it to the standard HDD I also use in my computer, and the speeds the L5 Lite 3D give blow my HDD out of the water. I'm sure it's not as fast as more expensive options from manufacturers like Crucial & Samsung, but it's still plenty faster than a standard HDD. The big bonus here with the L5 Lite 3D is the fact that it has 3D NAND, DRAM cache! A big feature for an SSD just under $20. My boot speeds have shortened big time with this SSD and it's running very well. You can't go wrong with the L5 lite 3D from Team Group. Now just to hope it holds up! But overall, a very nice, cheap SSD to slap at least an OS on!
Beautiful motherboard with plenty of capabilities
Overall Review: This is my first ever Asus motherboard and it's got a great initial impression from me. I love the fact that there's heatsinks for m.2's since my PC does not use SATA drives, I have one NVME dedicated to OS and then another dedicated to games. Now I have an additional two slots that I can expand to in the future. I especially love that there's plenty of headers for fans / ARGB components. Coming from a B550 / Ryzen platform, I'm glad to be back with intel. Onboard BIOS is fantastic and easy to navigate. Once I threw my 12700K in this motherboard, the BIOS took care of setting OC automatically. I do not have XMP RAM since I am running 3200 at least for now, but I hope down the line this board handles it with no issues. Overall, I recommend this motherboard. It's really well constructed and seems durable, resilient. I love the VRM heatsinks and the accents on the board as well. Had no issues getting it set up.
Great headset for just $10. Set your expectations realistically
Pros: Comfortable Hefty Premium Look & Feel Loud and clear
Cons: Rather long cable Only blue LED USB connection is solely for lights Sweaty ears after a while
Overall Review: For $10 this headset is hard to beat. I purchased this headset from Rosewill after owning a few other PC parts / accessories from them. I have been looking for a good deal on a cheap PC headset. I would easily pay double what I bought it for. Now this is no Corsair or Razer headset but for $10 this headset looks and feels very premium. It doesn't feel cheap at all and the cushions are easy on the ears. I will admit that after about an hour using these, my ears got sweaty. But my ears never felt uncomfortable and the headband is comfortable as well. As far as the microphone goes, it is clear and my friends had no issues hearing me. I am almost sure that the microphone isn't as good as a more expensive headset, but it gets the job done. I am going to knock off an egg due to the fact that the cord is very long, the volume and mute controller is sort of bulky, and the USB connection is only for the lights. Rosewill should have just made this headset a USB connected headset. It does come with a Y adapter for use on a PS4 and it works perfect. Overall for $10, this headset from Rosewill is worth every penny. It definitely beats out other options offered from cheap chinese headset brands like Sades.
A great motherboard from ASRock for a budget build!
Pros: MicroATX Cheap 2 chassis fan headers 2 DIMM slots 4 USB 3.0 rear ports M.2 expansion Easy to install Asrock brand
Cons: Cheap IO Shield (but it gets the job done)
Overall Review: I ended buying this motherboard for my first build due to the fact that it had an extra fan header and a couple more usb ports over the H310 motherboards. It came out to about $63 shipped which was the perfect price for me. Although this b360 motherboard has only 2 RAM dimm slots, that is all I need for my purposes. Setting up the g5400 CPU, t2 cooler, ddr4 2400 ram, and connections on this motherboard was a breeze and it booted up without any issues! I'm also glad that ASRock equipped the B360M-HDV with a m.2 slot! I noticed others with this motherboard are complaining about the LAN ethernet port not working, and they're right, it doesn't (out of the box). You have to install windows 10 first and then install the drivers with the supplied driver disc in order for the Ethernet port to work. I had zero issues overall with this motherboard, a solid product from ASRock! So glad I went with Asrock, many others in the pc community recommend them!
Crucial never lets me down! Thier memory is always my number one choice.
Pros: Low profile DIMM All white DIMM with matching color heat speader
Overall Review: Awesome 8GB kit for $69.99. Nowadays it's hard to find a good DDR4 kit cheap and I snagged this one without hesitation. Crucial memory has always been in my computer's and they have never let me down! They are a manufacturer I can trust when it comes to memory! The white colored dimms and heat spreaders are nice and low profile as well!
