memory install,easy as pie
Pros: My Averatec 6200 series instantly recognized the new memory. gives new life to an old laptop.Installation took less than 5 min.
Cons: Packaging is too secure. Need a good knife or scissors to open.
Overall Review: I hope I don't have to RMA, cause I damaged the packaging.
Not so good
Pros: Very fast frame rates and cheap.
Cons: Crysis usually crashes computer after 40 minutes of game play Get BSOD after that. Runs hot. After 40 minutes with the fans running like a mini vac, the temps are 80 to 85 Celsius.
Overall Review: Have to run game in window mode. Have got latest drivers for card and the latest patches for game
So far runs good
Pros: Lots of features for the price. The chip set allows me to use Win XP along Win 8.1 duel boot. Using rev 4.1. No problems as of yet
Cons: Upon reading the reviews it's usually hit or miss with Gigabyte. Time will tell.
Overall Review: Had board professionally installed along with AMD 9570 CPU, 8 gigs memory (Ripjaws), Lit-tech CPU cooler.
Underrated monitor
Pros: Newer games look super sharp detailed. No screen artifacts no dead pixels. Text look quite clear and a fair price.
Cons: I wish the monitor's controls were lighted so I adjust with out turning on room light. Darker scenes in games I see a faint lightness in the blacks probably from the LED.
Overall Review: using a VGA connector image still looks good.
does the job
Pros: Works great with vga monitor switching between Win XP and Win 7. I use it only for video. As long as resolution is not too high.
Cons: Runs on USB !.1 have to use a ps/2 keyboard to use the commands on the switch.
Overall Review: I use a separate usb switch for my hub for USB 2.0. I don't use the audio cable but instead use a USB external sound card.
Where's the quality control
Pros: Great case design with plenty of air flow.can handle any power supply. enough room for all of your hardware.
Cons: Case was damaged at the factory. The right rear thumb screw has a dimple in it when they drilled the hole for that screw. Screw goes in crooked now. Should not affect the functionality of the case. But it still angers me that I paid retail for a damaged product. Not worth while to get an RMA. Because I would have to ship at my expense. And then I have to hope that the other one is free of defects.
Overall Review: Other issues that bug me are that the owner's manual is vague and hard to understand. I would like more detail when understanding how to setup the case correctly. Also a company like Cooler Master could at least put all the different screws and fasteners in separate little bags so I don't have to sort them out as well.
