Pros: Works as expected, don't forget to get EVGA's precision software to control the fan curves.
Cons: Inflated prices made me wait until just before the next generation of cards are set to be previewed. Card was needed now in my case so I hope these prices don't plunge in the next 6 months.
Overall Review: Will update review if needed, have only installed it and then didn't have time to play any games yet...work/classes as a parent is a juggle.
Pros: Love the change in design from normal cases, temps definitely are better than my regular towers. Really like how the H110 mounts up perfectly
Cons: wish there was a way to setup an intake on the power supply side besides the psu fan just for peace of mind. You could probably mod in an 80mm or 92mm but that would destroy the silence of this case. havent had any heat issues on that side but just peace of mind like I said.
Pros: Another solid asus motherboard, plenty of options for different configurations
Cons: Tried matching the gold color with some corsair memory, if you care I'd recommend getting the silver color or whatever other color cause the gold just doesnt come close. I enjoy customizing
Pros: Things amazing, haven't played a single game so far that made it sweat. I use precision x to make sure the fan speeds up to my liking and it never gets past 60c.
Cons: Prices on GPU's just keeps going up and up with each iteration, normally don't spend more than four hundred so this thing really took a chunk out of my pocket.
Overall Review: I dont really get into overclocking gpu's so I cant comment on that
Pros: I always go corsair for my PSU and have never had any problems, have 4 corsair psu's at different ages still going strong
Pros: Decided to raid two of these and I think the benchmark showed in the mid 300's on both read/write
Cons: Pretty loud for a HTPC in a theater when the case is close to your couch
Pros: fast even coming from win7
Cons: took an egg of cause microsoft claim they are releasing a start menu patch but are too lazy to take it seriously. want my dang start menu
Pros: Things so quiet even at max speed, keeps my 4790k cool even under load and overclocked
Cons: holes in the radiator arent threaded so you kind of have to force the screws to go. first time dealing with watercooling so it might be normal but I can hear a slight buzzing sound as its in an HTPC in my theater right behind my couch, think its the pump in the cpu block.
Pros: does what it does like its supposed to
Cons: most I've spent on a chip
Overall Review: Using a Corsair H110 and it manages to keep the temps down with a pretty decent clock
Pros: Good specs
Cons: Memory prices
Overall Review: If its a concern of yours the gold doesnt really come close at all to the asus z97 boards gold color. Its more of a bolder color gold and asus' is kind of a washed out subdued gold.
Pros: Arctic Silver has never failed me, will always use it as long as its available.
Cons: can't find the tubes I already had so I had to order more...
Pros: Fast when working
Cons: Gets at least one blue screen each day of use, have to switch off the power from the psu to clear whatever fault is happening and then manually correct the boot order of the drive for the computer to start up correctly.
Recommend waiting until these things are fixed
Pros: capable board, met my needs and then some.
Cons: I decided on the pro over the base model just so I could get this bragged about onboad Intel NIC when in reality it has given me a headache. I get random hiccups that disconnects my computer from the internet for 30 seconds to a minute. I've tried a couple things I've read about online but nothing worked. Last driver posted by asus is from last year.
Been using nothing but asus boards for the last 4 years so I'm not sure what I'll go with in the next build.
Overall Review: Don't have a USB3 device to test that out yet so hopefully the ports are working as advertised too...
Pros: Can show up to 4 cameras at once on the handset
Can set up as a totally wireless system (Both Handset and Cameras have internal rechargeable batteries)
Cons: Bad Audio Quality
Low Audio Volume
VOX is useless
Video Quality could be better for the price
Overall Review: VOX is one of the main things that was a selling point for me, basically it either never goes into stand by or never comes out of stand by at the different sensitivity levels. Lorex needs to fix this option. Almost makes me return the system.
Can barely hear what is coming from the handsets tiny speaker.
Not sure if its possible but would like to hear more than one camera at time so we can monitor two audio sources at night, but this is probably just a technology limit and not the systems limit.
Pros: Advertised exactly what I needed...
Cons: ...Did not perform as advertised
This is not compatible with windows 7, netgear plays it off telling you to use the default driver that windows 7 installs but it doesnt allow you to use anything other than 54mb...actually it cant even achieve 54mb, it degrades to 13-18mb and actually bounces around.
Advertises 270mb/s...good luck getting over 2mb/s
Overall Review: Netgear has had over 2 years since windows 7 released and has shown ZERO effort into fixing their issues, garbage company AVOID
Pros: Great bag for a kit of about 4 to 5 lenses (one lens attached to a single body) and a flash. Heres what I have in the bag, 40D with 30mm attached, 150mm vertical in the center column, and a wide angle 11-16 and 50mm along the left side of the 150 with a 430exII, battery charger and dust blower along the narrow pockets on the right side. mini point and shoot and other accessories in the little pouch up top.
Cons: Honestly, I should have bought the all black version, the red is not really red but more of a maroon color.
Overall Review: Don't get this if you plan on carrying more than 4 or 5 lenses and a single camera body.
Pros: Good performance
Cons: Loudest thing in my room when at max
Overall Review: Only had this fan/computer together for about 4 or so months and the past couple weeks the fan makes a sound like the blades are hitting something at 3/4 - full speed. theres nothing near the blades so im assuming that the fan is spinning off center and hitting the black plastic around it.
