EVGA GeForce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card 256-P2-N517-AX
EVGA GeForce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card 256-P2-N517-AX

Pros: Running SLI setup. Runs every game great. 45+fps max setings on F.E.A.R. @ 12x9 11370 3d05 ... 278?? on 3d03. (7570 on 3d05 with only 1) Will o/c up to 493/1400 using coolbits, but because of ram issues i turn it down to 480/1200. One of these cards will run Unreal 04 @ 19x12 & max settings flawlessly. Card #1 is around 38c and card #2 is around 32c both at idle. Unsure under load??? Worked fine with a cheap 400w for a month.

Cons: None ... very easy drivers & starts right up with no problems Shipping always behind schedual for me. Could be location though (Louisville, KY)

Overall Review: I am having ram compatability issues with the fataliy trying to run cas2 sticks, so all settings & results based on the geil 2.5-4-4-8 value ram System: AMD 64 4000 Abit AN8 Fatality SLI WD 74gb Raptor EVGA 7800gt SLI (n517) Coolermaster case/stock fans

Pros: Reads CDs and Some DVDs

Cons: Will Not Bur To Or Even Read Any Blank CD or DVD. Some Windows Programs Registers Drive As DVD-RAM Without Any Other Functions. No Firmware Updates Available. No Response From Manufacturer. This Is My Fourth Lite-On Drive And Will Be My Last

Overall Review: Xamsung 18x Drive Opened, Decrypted (Couldn't Write) Same DVD Over 1 Minute Faster Total Time Than This Drive. I Recommend You Search For Other Options First. Give This Drive Some Time For A Second Release Or Updated Firmware.

Good and Stable OC Board!

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Overclocked my e8500 to 3.8ghz right out of the box. Left the ram at 400mhz with tight latencies. My other mobo this one replaced (MSI P35 Platinum v1.1) couldn't do this. BIOS has many features and more adjustability than I'm used to. I needed to search some forums to figure out some of it, but after about an hour of research, I had it down. You should too! Plenty of USB inputs for those of us who need them. Blue surface looks great with my blue leds.

Cons: HD audio connector is in the back middle of the board making a wire visible from my case display window, but that doesn't cost it any points since it's purely a cosmetic preference. All other connections are tucked away to the sides.

Overall Review: CPU-Z shows the processor running at 2.4ghz under idle. That scared me at first until I put the processor under load and then It registered 3.8. Must be the power saving feature for this mobo. None of my other boards did this. Again, I just have average knowledge with these things. My setup... -Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P -Intel E8500 (OCed to 3.8ghz) -4GB G.SKILL PI Black DDR2800 (4,4,4,12) -150GB WD Raptor HD -500GB WD Caviar Black -Antec 850W PSU

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 - Core 2 Duo Conroe Dual-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 775 65W Processor - BX80557E6750

Pros: Keeping this AM_ fan continuing to buy from the competition. Gret price for all this performance. Matched with the MS_ P35 Platinum, 2gb Patrio_ Extreme Ram, x1950xt, 150gb Raptor X, etc and putting down benchmarks higher than many online reviews. Happy with the product and recommend.

Cons: Im still a fan of brand X, but thats not this processor's fault.

Overall Review: Running stock voltage and speeds. Matched with the massive GeminII heatsink. Idle temps are in the low 30c range and load is at 38-40c with the massive 120mm fans set on low.

MSI P35 Platinum LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great board so far. Get Revision 1.1 if you plan to overclock. (See Tom's) Easy to understand Bios. Put everything together and installed the OS the first time without any issues. Installed a GeminII heatsink and now this thing is ready to overclock! Auto detected proper settings for my hardware with the exception of RAM voltage. Noticed higher benchmarks (400 more on 3d05, 0.3 second faster testcpu calculations) than my friend's system with all the same hardware snd test setup, but with an Abi_ P35 mobo.

Cons: 2 power hookups (12v and PCI) are in the middle of the board making it hard to keep the wires hidden, but this is a personal preference.

Overall Review: Running the following with this board that work without issues... -e6750 (auto @ 1.3v) -Patriot Extreme (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (set at 2.2v 4,4,4,12) -x1950xt (stock voltage and must use newest ATI drivers to work properly) -Raptor X 150GB -SATA DVD Burner (DRW-1814BLT) With all this, Vista gave it a 5.6 index rating with the lowest being the cpu and all the rest at 5.9 Some overclocking may help.

ARCTIC COOLING AVC-NV5R3 ARCTIC Ceramic NV Silencer Rev.3

Pros: Keeps My 7900gt And 7950gt <55c Under Load. Allowed More Overclocking Potential.

Cons: Needs Easy/Minor Mods To Fit Properly.

Overall Review: Before Installing, Need To Trim Duct Down 3/4in. Stock Thermal Tape Will Cover Most 75% Of Each Ram. I Removed The Stock Tape Around Slightly To Cover More Of Each Ram. Now Your Ready To Go!
