Giant Mouse Pad

XTRAC PADS Ripper RIPPER XL Optical Mouse pad
XTRAC PADS Ripper RIPPER XL Optical Mouse pad

Pros: Huge and great with my Logitech 518 Mouse for games.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Didn't come with driver CD. I kid, I kid. This thing is great if you need a HUGE mouse pad.

Great idea but doesn't work

Soundmate M1 Wireless Wifi Audio Streaming Receiver DLNA Airplay Sharing Music for iOS/Android
Soundmate M1 Wireless Wifi Audio Streaming Receiver DLNA Airplay Sharing Music for iOS/Android

Pros: Simple wifi audio streaming device with SPDIF out, will take a USB drive with more media. Brilliant concept.

Cons: Cuts out every 30-90 seconds. You can't even finish streaming a song. I tried it with two devices, streaming to both my home audio and the digital connection in my car. Both times the M1 was only a few inches from the source (Galaxy S4 and an old tablet I had laying around). Frustrating. Can't find any support online for this thing. Guess I'll give up.

Overall Review: Very disappointed this didn't work. If it had it was perfect for my needs.

Great Deal!

Canon EOS Rebel XS Black 10.1 MP Digital SLR Camera w/EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Canon EOS Rebel XS Black 10.1 MP Digital SLR Camera w/EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens

Pros: Great budget DSLR! Thrilled with the performance. Better then expected for this price range! Can take most Canon lenses, battery grip etc. Lots of accessories for this one.

Cons: Feels cheap, plastic body, plastic grip etc.

Overall Review: For images it rocks! Doesn't give you that high dollar DSLR feel, but then it's CHEAP! Bang for the buck can't be beat IMO. I'm very happy. Bought it with the 18-55 EF-S, and the 55-250 EF-S lenses, huge discount that way right now (may 2010). I'm more then satisfied considering how little I've spent.

Great lens for the money

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens

Pros: Price and takes very good pictures!

Cons: Feels CHEAP. I mean like fisher-price made this for a two year old.

Overall Review: You get more then you pay for with this. I'm no pro, but it seems to get the job done with great results, but the feel is awful. Again, it was so cheap with the instant rebate (I bought it with the Rebel XS here) it's a no brainer. If you can live with the poor feel, the end result is surprisingly good.

I like it!

Microsoft Explorer Mouse
Microsoft Explorer Mouse

Pros: Comfortable, looks cool, trouble free set-up, wireless works great. Has a cool little storage spot on the mouse for the transmitter. No complaints

Cons: OK, one complaint. When you put the usb transmitter in the mouse it doesn't allow it fit on the charger. Seems a little odd, but I guess most people wouldn't take it out of a desktop (I use it with a laptop and pack it up at night, while the mouse charges on my work desk).

Overall Review: Great value and I like it better then my high dollar wired home gaming mouse. Will probably replace that with this actually.

Cool but pricey

Sling Media SB300-100 Slingbox PRO-HD
Sling Media SB300-100 Slingbox PRO-HD

Pros: Let's me watch my Comcast HD DVR anywhere in the world. Has a cool Comcast remote on the screen. HD works great anywhere in the house, works with my ATI Remote Wonder (after installing plugins). All around a cool device.

Cons: No wireless REALLY sucks. N wireless would of been great and a this price point it should have it. Not Slings fault, but HD is spotty due to upload and download speeds when watching remotely, don't think the HD Pro would be needed if you don't have the upload speeds to handle it. The cheaper model would be fine IMO. Buffering helps though. Can't watch it on two PC's at once unless I'm missing something. Again, no big deal. HDMI output to the TV would be great, but apparently there are DRM issues so it doesn't have it.(?) The comp outputs look fine so no big deal. Just convenience mostly.

Overall Review: I mostly bought this to be able to watch HD from a different room from the DVR. It works great for that. I love this thing. Would be nice for the money if it also worked in reverse and allowed me to watch PC media on my plasma, but they do have an additional box for that, but I don't want to add (or pay) for more stuff that takes up room. All in all a great purchase. Comp. quality seems everybit as good as DVI/HDMI input on my 1080P 58".
