Pros: Look good and you can mount the solar panel far away - 15 feet away from the light. When they work, the light is good.
Cons: The sensor stopped working after 2 days for both lights that I purchased!!! It is too much of a coincidence... I tried many things, cover the solar panel so it does not pick up light... etc.. Not working...
Overall Review: I got 2 of them, they worked good for 2 days, now they don't come on. If you flip the on - off switch and it is dark outside then it comes on, stays 40 seconds, then turns off - sensor does not trigger the light anymore...
Pros: Good tracking technology, nice thumb side controls, good looks, exchangeable slide feet, quality materials, nice charging system, replaceable rechargeable battery
Cons: Even though it tracks well, the wireless distance has to be minimal (less than 1 meter = 3 feet) because of wireless stutter - wireless feature is almost useless because of this. It should be 30 range like the low models... add a second battery for transmission power, or use 5Gz, not the overused 2.4GZ... interferes with neighbors' wireless routers... etc..
Waste of $75 .... except for the looks
Overall Review: Need to wait for better technology, such as better wireless connection... I like gaming on my 52 inch TV.... I think you are better off with a cheaper blue track 30' wireless mouse such as Microsoft wireless mouse 5000 - which by the way I just ordered... will see how it compares (wireless range on that one is 33 feet - on the Sidewinder X8 is not mentioned...because it is wimpy)
Pros: Sturdy - dropped it from 1meter height (unintentionally) - it just bent 3mm one of the fins, paint did not chip. Good looking - I changed the fans with Enermax almost silent fans - however the fans that came with it they were also good. Roomy - fitted my 9800GX2. Window is great - hides the clutter, shows video card
Cons: Heavy - it feels like is made of steel. The round legs will break under stress (mine did, so I took them all out). Face plate comes out nicely if you pull a lever underneath. Otherwise steel legs break - no problem, I glued them with super glue and they are stronger than original. The case does not have handles to comfortably carry it to LAN parties. Video card slot could use a fan over it (then again this is where the window is...)
Overall Review: Felt very happy with purchase for the first days, then I broke the weak stuff (legs on bottom and legs on faceplate - both my fault - superglue fixes all). Now I fee the only weak point of this case is the ventilation for the video card(s). 3 eggs because it is so heavy?? unexplained, and because the back slots rack is aluminum and the screws for video card, if too tight will easily destroy the groove since aluminum is a soft metal.
