Nothing is perfect

Pros: First off, I'm just really happy to be going digital :) Now I can get this pile of DV Tapes off my desk. The picture quality is impressive. It's smaller than I was expecting and I was expecting a very small camera, and it weighs nothing. The touch screen is user friendly and the external controls are well placed. Having a separate still photo button to take stills wile recording video is nothing short of awesome. I love the fact that I can now use HDMI to TV for review. The zoom will blow you away, I never use digital zoom (it degrades picture quality) so having 40X optical zoom is a great feature.
Cons: You cannot fast-tap the touch screen, you have to hold your finger on the selected button for a moment for it to register. So far I have not been able to get the bundled software to run on my computer (Win 7, Core 2 Duo 3.0, 16G Memory, multiple HDD over 200G), I have not yet called support but have reloaded program several times & downloaded updates searching for a solution. The battery life (with the supplied battery) is inadequate. User manual says it will last for 40 min. This is only true if you have energy conserving settings enabled, and even then I am not a believer. Plan on purchasing one of the two upgraded batteries JVC sells.
Overall Review: I'm happy with my purchase, I always buy an extra battery for backup anyway, You can upload video to your computer without the bundled software, and the slow touch screen is very consistent in spite of being a bit slow. I love the fact that you can trim video on the camera itself. The face recognition and smile meter really works! (I was a bit skeptical). Overall I am very pleased with this camera. I was going to rate it @ 3 egg's, dropping 1 for Battery life & touch screen, and dropping 1 more for bundled software problems. Rethinking things I'll forget about the software thing for now, because I haven't contacted support yet and discovered that I'm an idiot and should have flipped a switch or something. I'll make it a point to return and update this review.
I Like Free

Pros: 4 gig, Free, and works great. I like the adapter too.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I like Free, but I love Newegg shipping. On time or early, always consistant.
Super Fast

Pros: This thing is super fast. No problems at all.
Cons: Price, and capacity. But this too shall pass.
Overall Review: I'm running Windows 7 on this SSD, and loading all my programs on a striped set of 500g HDD's. I'm amazed at how much faster everything is. I'll never build another computer without a SSD.
Look's Great

Pros: Moves more than enough air, Chrome finish look's great with the blue LED's.
Cons: The mount's are well built but do not tighten down on the memory clip's as well as I would like. However I'm certain that it will not fall off.
Overall Review: It is rather large. But on the other hand, my computer is too. It's a good choice!!

Comments: Just built a system for video editing. Had bought one of these on Exxx a month or so ago (before I knew about NEWEGG) Bought the other here for my raidO set for less with faster shipping. They run quiet and has more room than my garage. Oh yea for the first time NEWEGG got it here when they said they would (All my other orders have been a day or two EARLY). Gotta love NEWEGG.

Comments: New System so I don't have any temp comparisons to give you, It is conciderably lower than my previous system's temps though. You'll read that this stuff is really thick, trust me that is an understatment. Less = More.
