Awesome case

XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED
XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: Great finish, attractive design, 2 included fans both reasonably silent, tons of cable management, tooless drive cage design with rear facing i/o is awesome for keeping a clean look. White led fan looks great, sufficient room between motherboard tray and side panel for cable routing, very reasonably priced, tons of options for expanded cooling options, front usb 3.0 header has a usb 2.0 header so you can still make use of the front usb 3.0 slot at 2.0 speeds if your mobo has no usb 3.0 support. Room for 3 x hdd as well as 1 ssd (although you could technically velcro more ssds inside the case) all in all a heck of a lot of pros for a small cheap case OH AND DID I MENTION THEY GIVE YOU A SPEAKER!

Cons: ssd mount could use one more screw on the other side so the tray doesnt rattle. I would kill for just a couple more centimeters between the side panel and mobo tray. no removable filters for the intakes

Overall Review: bought this case to do a rebuild on a friends home pc. Case easily fit all three of his hdds as well as a new ssd. Cable management was easy even with a his non modular psu. These guys have their stuff together when it comes to smart design. Well placed cable routing options.. At first i didnt think the tiny slit at the top of the mobo tray was going to actually allow enough room to pass the 6 pin power connector without mangling the mobo but it was a perfect fit! Although I only used a small graphics card I could see that there is tons of room above the hard drive cage to accomodate very long cards. As for the cages themselves I was very pleased to see the rear facing design (by which I mean you connect your sata and power cables to the hdds from the back side of the mobo tray instead of the traditional orientation) this allows you to hide most of the cables very easily. This case really is an incredible value if you are looking for a micro atx case, offering many premium features, great engineering and a good build quality at a very reasonable price.

Great case DONT BUY IT

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: THE CASE OF CHOICE UNDER $100.00... or at least it was until the 302 was released

Cons: THE 302 EXISTS BUY THAT INSTEAD !!!!!

Overall Review: Antec has made this case obsolete by releasing the 302 instead of just updating this case. If you like this cases features the 302 has it and more. If you like the look of this case the 302 is the exact same design just slightly larger. And by slightly I mean my boss didn't believe me until I put it next them side by side. If you think Antec should of just updated this case and kept the same model number instead of releasing the new 302 which is the same case but with updated features and a justifiable $5.00 increase in price... SO do I

Great board stable from day 1

ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Full featured board with pci 3.0 ( not that ill be needing that for a while). 3rd asus z68 build and rock solid as always! plenty of usb 3.0 options especially with the included front panel unit . LED's are great for trouble shooting.

Cons: not a huge fan of the side mounted sata ports. I know many people like them but in a mid tower case like the antec three hundred it becomes a challenge to connect and disconnect the sata cables once the drive bays are full. They do however make for easy cable management once you can get everything plugged in. not worth taking an egg away because you cant ask for everything

Overall Review: I would of liked to see a 5 inch bay adapter for the included front panel usb 3.0 . Many cases don't have 3.5 inch bays and I had to order and wait for an adapter from newegg. Also keep in mind that if your case has front usb 3.0 already (like the Antec 302 I used in the build i did after this one) then this mobo has only one of the new plug in header for front usb 3.0 . I don't know if it's possible to find an adapter or some other solution but you would be forced to plug either the included asus front side or the ones from your case.

Confused

Antec Three Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded 2 x USB 3.0
Antec Three Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded 2 x USB 3.0

Pros: great case updated features compared to 300

Cons: none but read below for 4 egg justification

Overall Review: This is not a new case. Calling this the 302 is like ford releasing a new 2013 Mocus to go with the 2013 focus. Antec you already make a case at this price point that looks exactly like this one that has been needing an update for a while. Why didnt you just update the 300 if you didnt intend to actually design a new case? Adding the new standard features that consumers expectt doesn't justify changing the model number on the greatest value cases of all time. Do you intend to keep selling the outdated 300? Hoping some unknowing buyers will buy it for the 5 dollar difference not caring that it doesnt offer anywhere near the features of the 302? All you are doing by releasing the 302 is tarnishing the image of one of the best selling cases ever. Just my 2 cents but I appreciate a company that doesn't play games with its loyal consumers. I am happy that the 300 has been updated but a little appalled that you are still selling the 300 for that price with the "NEW"302 around

incredible performance for the price

CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M4A1600C9B
CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M4A1600C9B

Pros: 16 gb for under $90.00! Performs as advertised. Bought 2 kits so far no DOA 3rd kit is in the mail. Nice looking, low profile, matches color scheme on asus z68 boards.

Cons: none really. As long as you know what your getting (ie: a huge amount of mid range performance ram for a great price)

Overall Review: Make sure you enable XMP in your Bios or it might read as 1333 instead of 1600 and not pick up all 16gb. Not the fastest ram available if your building a high end gaming machine I would not recommend this particular kit. However for most average gaming rigs or a solid office pc this is a great bang for your buck.

great mobo for $$ feature rich

GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2H LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2H LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: good board worked right out of the box easy to configure on-board features. built in hdmi with sound is a great plus for any machine. on board graphics score decent on vista 64bit windows experience index

Cons: only holds 4gb ddr2 800mhz which is pretty slow but acceptable

Overall Review: used this mobo in a system i built for my boss to use as a home/ home office pc, runs vista 64bit very well system is stable as can be. Has Hdmi out built in so he can connect it to his lcd tv (if he can figure out how to use it when im not there to show him) all in all a great bargain it gets docked one star only becasue of its pitiful Ram capacity/ standard compared to most mobo's but for what the user of this pc needs it fits the bill
