My families are all happy
Pros: Regardless of low review points, I ordered because I trusted the brand name. And yes I made a right decision. I read that some users complained about the invisible speakers. This speaker system is tuned by the audio legend, Mark Levinson,. One audio expert reviews “This unique system provides a clean, polished look and an enhanced auditory experience by increasing the "sweet spot," providing a wider field of sound”. Another says “The result is speakers that sound more lifelike and inviting than before”. To be honest with you, I do not feel any big superbness on the system, but obviously voice is very clear When I watch a Blue Ray movie with TrueMotion on, I feel that the people in the movie moves right front of you out of the TV. I agree the reviews from some who talked about feeling dizziness. The more often I watch it, the more I get used. The 120Hz drives & 4ms exceptionally great quality of picture, especially fast moving scenes such as sports. I don’t observe any blur or artifa
Cons: The navigation keypads are most often used. They are on the upper part in the remote which is very hard to use by one hand together with volumes and channels that are located relatively bottom. The remote for my Samsung TV has those keys next each other so that you can control most features by one hand easily.
Overall Review: I am an electrical engineer; very friendly with most new IT, and high tech devices. However, I am stupid in color and graphical designs. My wife is bad in high tech, but special for designs. She did not care of what 120Hz, TruMotion, or 1080p was. She loved wine colored back panel, black front panel, and platinum silver base on the TV because it gives elegant looking. After my three years old boy came back from his day care, he asked us “why did you buy a new TV?” rather saying “Wow”. He might have not admired the TV for a while until yesterday. I bought a LG BD370 Blue Ray player that is capable to stream online videos such as Youtube , Cinemanow, and Netflix. It was hooked up with the TV. My son can watch his favorite Donald Duck and Chip and Dale from Youtube through the big screen TV. Now, he does not occupy my computer any more.
Cheap is cheap
Pros: 1. It worked well when in working condition. 2. Dual band worked well. 3. Looking good three antennas
Cons: There is only one problem, but a serious problem; continuous disconnection. I used to use a router from Netgear, Linksys, Airlink, T-mobile all the way from 802.11 b. I never had any serious issues with them. I upgraded my D-link N band router with this Trendnet. It worked very well for around 8 months. Then, it began to make an irregular disconnection. Sometimes, the problem occurred in a few days, sometimes in a few weeks, and sometimes a few months. I later found that the router kept losing IP, or couldn't update the IP info. Every time when this problem occurred, I had to directly connect the WAN cable to my PC and power cycle both modem and the router. A regular power recycle, resetting the router, or upgrading firmware did not help at all. Before the warranty of the router was expired, I talked to the customer service twice for the same problem. Their answer was simple and terrible. "We don't remotely detect any problem on your router" So they rejected RMA.
Overall Review: I check Newegg reviews first before buying any products because they are accurate and fair. I consider to buy one when its reviews are over 85% from 4 stars + 5 stars. I am sad that I didn't do that for this router because it was on a crazy sale. In most cases, there are reasons why cheap ones are cheap. But what you need to know is that the service of Trendnet is cheap. My money won't go for any Trendnet products
Works well
Pros: 1. Charges well 2. Syncs well 3. As long as 6 ft
Cons: The plastic tip surrounding the end-plug is bigger than original. It causes impossible to insert the charger into some cases. I have two iphone 5 cases. One has a wide-open bottom part, but another one does not. It has a hole for the charger that barely fits with an original charger. Therefore, I can't use this charger with that case. If you don't consider to give up your case that barely fits with an original charger, you can't use this cable.
Good quality & Convenient & Looks great
Pros: 1. Excellent air flow: Overclocked upto 4.5GHz, still good temperature with Zalman CPU cooler. Two inlets (front and side) and two outlets (back and top) move air amazingly well. 2. Convenient and safe front panel: The front plug panel is, unlikely other cases, sat a bit back from the front wall, and leant to backward on the top. It makes very easy to plug and unplug anything to it. And it's very safe against being pumped. For example, my old computer is a typical mid case with its front panel on the front wall. My son accidentally kicked and bent a 16GB USB jump drive mounted on the front panel due to the protruding design. This case is safe against similar incidents. 3. Looks beautiful: Do you see two chrome or silver-looking stripes on each side on the front wall? These stripes start from the upper-mid point all the way to the bottom. These are acryl with blue LED inside for power-on indication. Blue lights turn on along these long stripes. Look pretty when on.
Cons: 1. No front USB 3.0 2. One of four front USB 2.0 ports keeps dropping being recognized 3. Bee-noise from front headphone plug (I use stereo bluetooth headset, so not a big deal)
Overall Review: CPU: i7 2600k (Overclocked to 4GHz) RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 Motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Video: EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit Case: Rosewill CRUISER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Power: CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W Cooler: ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Paltry Quality
Pros: It turned on, and I could see graphics and texts.
Cons: Firstly, the color tones via DVI and HDMI were totally different. Via DVI connections, all colors appeared normal. However, these colors were changed via the HDMI connection. For example, pure red is no longer red, but faded maroon. I used three different HDMI cables in different speed and two monitors for testing. No luck The second problem was on the VGA connection. Extended monitor to my HDTV via VGA connection provided a bad quality on both graphics and texts. Everything looked very rough, and NOISY and BIG horizontal lines kept going up. I have seen the moving horizontal lines in a few occasions from other computers when digital-to-analog. However, no more than this noisy and wide. I downloaded the newest drivers and tweaked all options I could do in the control panel and Catalyst with a technical representative from AMD to solve these two problems. Finally, we concluded that the device was defective. He recommended me a RMA, and I did.
Overall Review: I replaced it with an EVGA’s SuperCloked GeForce 560 Ti. There was no need of changing even a single option. All worked perfectly. I was very disappointed with Sapphire’s quality. There is no half-egg, so I give one egg
Product is good, but overall service is poor
Pros: I have owned this about four months. I sometimes experience halt or delay on accessing data. It could be software problems. This SSD runs as other SSD This was a replacement for my Corsair CMFSSD-128GBG2D. It was in my laptop, but not in a desktop. It still runs greatly. Only reason I replaced was the capacity. I run heavy simulation programs every day. I needed more capacity for the simulation data.
Cons: 1. The company claims that this SSD marked the highest score in Thinkcomputer. Does everyone have Thinkcomputer? Overall speed you will feel will be simply the same as other normal SSD. However, I feel this SSD has latches more often than Corsair, which is less quality. 2. Even though, the product is ok or impressive to you, your total score on the product will surely include the overall service from the company. Poor service will diminish the wow-impression on their products. This is what happens to me. This SSD had $30 mail-in-rebate. The complete form was sent and approved by Jan 15. They stated that the mail-in-rebate was going to be mailed within 8-10weeks. It's over 10 weeks. I called the rebate center. I later found that the rebate center was a third party company. This third party company had very poor service. The representative couldn't explain why it was delayed. She kept saying that I needed to wait at least two more weeks.
Overall Review: She refused to transfer me to a supervisor by lying that a supervisor was off for lunch and had no idea when he would be available. About one minute after my consistent request, she raised her voice, and transferred me to a supervisor, which was very stupid because she was telling the supervisor what she had been doing to a customer. The supervisor took around 20 seconds to find the reason why it was being delayed. Dah... The reason was that the OCZ didn't approve the validation for the mail-in-rebate. Ok. I called the OCZ financial department, left messages twice. None has been replied. A news article says that the rate of mail-in-rebate recipients is 25%. Three out of four don't receive mail-in-rebate due to "did not send the form or forgot", "missing requirements", "loss", or some other. Good for companies, bad for customers. This is what I am mad about. Even though I follow the rule, they don't send me my money until I bug them. Oh Sorry I don’t know yet if I will receive the mo
