Great! But terrible software?

GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AM4 AMD B550 ATX Motherboard with Dual M.2, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2.5 GbE LAN, PCIe 4.0
GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AM4 AMD B550 ATX Motherboard with Dual M.2, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2.5 GbE LAN, PCIe 4.0

Pros: Love the board! Right on the edge of being above mid tier board but not costing to much. The machined aluminum shields that cover the VRMs and the Chipset are high quality. The SATA cables headers were in convenient places. The board build quality is good. The convenient shield (with sticky tape) for the M.2 is awesome. The Look is also pleasing and the ranforced PCIe slot is great. The integrated audio is also above average. Not to mention the preinstalled IO shield. All of these things I expect form Gigabyte.

Cons: I had heard horror stories about RGB Fusion 2.0 from others but never having an Arora product myself had never experienced. I assumed they were over exadurated or something. Boy was I sorely wrong. The GUI when the program does boot and doesn't crash my computer is by itself terrible. No clear instructions, small buttons, and doesn't look clean at all. The other 98% of the time when the program just straight up grinds my cpu to a hult and I am forced to restart it is really a thorn in the side. I have now given up on it and have a streak of orange (the default color) down the side of my otherwise clean white build. Disappointed to say the least. I have done some research and it seems to be split. For some the software works great and others not even close. With this motherboard and my set up I'm on the wrong side of history. Maybe you won't be.

Overall Review: I still give it a 5/5 because the product that you buy here is awesome but the software (which is optional) is absolute trash. Come on Gigabyte. I'll update the review if something changes.
