Not cheap, nice quality, no secure web pages though...

D-Link DSL-2320B ADSL2/2+ Ethernet/USB Modem 24Mbps Downstream, 3.5Mbps Upstream ADSL Port (RJ-11) 10/100 Ethernet Port (RJ-45) USB 1.1 Port ADSL Standards: Multi-mode Full-rate ANSI T1.413 Issue 2 ITU-T G.992.1 (G.dmt) Annex A/C/I ITU-T

Pros: If you know what your settings are, and have set up an ADSL modem, this is nothing new. I have PPPeoE, used the info my ISP gave me and connected, but only halfway. I have CitCom internet, VCI-0 & VPI-35, modem had no problem recognizing that. The quality is really nice, some people say theirs runs hot, mine is actually cool, it's barley even warm, and this is while downloading 2 rather large files for an extended time. The build quality of the modem itself is nice, D-Link didn't cheap out. Small, about the same dimensions as a 8 o.z. flask.

Cons: The power adapter may be a little annoying to you, make sure you have enough plug space because if your power bar is set up horizontally then this might overlap outlets. When I said this only worked halfway, it was apparently my computers fault. I've had Dial Up for 6 LONG years, and I've connected to friends computers before through wireless and never have had a problem. But I hook this modem up, and apparently the MTU isn't right so It wouldn't load up secure web pages (Yahoo, Myspace, PayPal, Download.com). But it would do all others. I have yet to figure out if this was a Computer problem or modem problem. I ruled out the modem in my trouble shooting and adjusted the MTU through Regedit, which apparenlty dind't work. Since that failed, I tried using a program called Dr. TCP, this can be found on softpedia. So I ran that, rebooted, then tried it and, viola! secure Webpages!

Overall Review: I'm giving this a 4/5, because of the web based configuration utility is REALLY skimpy, and not really helpful as far as options go. They're very few. The manual isn't much help either, it's more of a diagram of the modem and tells you the 192.168.1.1, and default passwords. But the FULL manual can be downloaded as a PDF. That I think is stupid, because you need internet to download! Tech Support wasn't much help either, the number they gave me was to some random lady. She said people call all the time thinking that she's D-Link, so I apologized and hung up the phone. If you cannot view secure webpages, chances are it's your MTU, or firewall.

Very Misleading Product

NYKO Intercooler EX for XBOX 360
NYKO Intercooler EX for XBOX 360

Pros: Moves a lot of air, Unlike other Cooling devices this one works in both standing up and lying flat position. It's recommended lying horizontal to avoid disk read errors.

Cons: The air it moves only seems to be a few degrees cooler than the air with the stock 360 fans. It voids your warranty. It does not have an amperage/voltage regulator to send back the excess volts it uses, so your hardware inside the 360 is destroyed. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Overall Review: Well, I was using this thing fine and dandy when I was on a Forum and found out about this. I did some more research and got the symptoms of what it causes and took it off immediately. I saw pictures of the brown stains that it leaves do to electrical problems. I would NOT buy this, it's worse for your 360 on it then it is off it...

Really, Really, Good Budget Board

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard

Pros: Loaded the 1066 Hyper-X RAM right up with out a hiccup. Easy installation into the Centurion 534, all of the risers fit right into place. Board read the E6750 along with the 320GB Seagate SATA drive right off of the bat. No problems what so ever. And yes, if you are wondering about whether this is really durable, it is. The capacitors are really ON the board. The PCI-e 16x slot read the 8600GTX XXX instantly. The front panel ports detected easily and I was transferring files after XP Pro was installed. PC Health Status is a nice feature in the BIOS, gives temps and fan RPMs, you can also set your alarm if your temps get to high.

Cons: Front panel connectors were a little confusing at first, but that was more Cooler Masters fault for not making the connector pins detailed enough. Honestly, there are no imperfections in this board, $89 is a steal for the quality of this motherboard.

Overall Review: Keep in mind, you will need a GFX card if you plan on purchasing this, but most on board graphics suck anyways so thats not such a bad thing. For the reliability of this board, $89 is not much at all to pay. This thing is up to date, and doesn't have all the unnecessary options that give people incompatibility errors and such. All of the below listed items worked perfectly in conjunction with 0% Error. |XP Pro 32-Bit | 2GB Kingston Hyper-X DDR2 1066 PC8500 | 320GB Seagate SATA | Dual Samsung SATA DVD Burners | Core2 E6750 | Cooler Master Centurion 534 | Antec Earthwatts 380 Watt PSU |

The best $40 Case

Cooler Master Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP Black Aluminum & Mesh bezel / SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP Black Aluminum & Mesh bezel / SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: What really got me on this case was the metal quality. The Finish on the front bay shields is really nice. The case has some weight to it, that could be a con also. The tool design truly is tool-less, you just pop in the plastic adapters and slide in your drive, adjust it to your liking then secure the button on the side. Airflow is wonderful, my Gigabyte DS3L sat right in there while keeping the E6750 @ ~31-35C. The vent for the processor was only off by 3-4cm's, so it vented 85%+ of the processor heat. The case is very, very roomy too, I was surprised. The side lights aren't too excessive, they shine just the right amount even in the dark.

Cons: Power button. That was the one thing that got me on this. It feels like it is cheaply in place. It gives you that feeling if you press it to hard it will end up stuck in one position. Another con was the manual, it could have been more detailed on the front panel connectors, I wasn't sure which pin to connect the message light to. In the end it all worked out, so I cannot really complain. While installing the second optical drive, you must remove the drive cover by force in a method of bending it back and forth until it is forced to break off, during this process my friend cut his hand but it wasn't too serious or anything to lose sleep over, just kind of surprising.

Overall Review: Overall, this is an excellent case. If you are wondering about space issues, this case has room. If you are wondering about cooling issues, this case has excellent airflow. If you are wondering about the LED's being too bright, they aren't. If you are worried about quality, this metal is thick and heavy, it wont snap on you, I was surprised at how thick the mesh in the front that covers the LED's was. If you are worried about the tooless design, it is far by the best I've ever seen. I think this case is comparable to $80+ cases. For a no rebated $40 case, I think this one is superb and could get away with costing $60 and still get the reviews it does.

It works. Very well. Looks cool too!

Speck Products Ruggedized protection for Zune ZUNBLKTS
Speck Products Ruggedized protection for Zune ZUNBLKTS

Pros: Extremely durable. Buttons are easy to access, if you are thinking about the skin stopping the buttons or making them harder to push, that really isn't the case with this product. The screen protector doesn't lay flat, so any pressure put on the screen is transfered out, onto the side, not directly on the LCD screen. Rubber is very high quality. This thing will protect your Zune. The flat edges allows it to stand up strait with no worries of it tipping, or on its side to watch movies. It will hide the color of your Zune for all you Brown haters out there!

Cons: Pictures may deceive you and make you think that the rubber is kind of shiny, but it's just kind of plain black. The inside of the belt clip can leave a scuff ring on the back of your Zune about the size of a quarter, but it is easily removable. However, if you remove this plastic ring, then the clip can no longer be used. Friction can make it hard to get out of tight pants if you keep it in your pocket.

Overall Review: My main worry about this was that this wouldn't protect the screen well enough, I was wrong. It protects the screen extremely well, and the grip/friction of the Rubber help more than you think they would. I am overall very satisfied with this product, and it will protect my investment for years to come I think.

Wonderful Card

MSI PC60G Turbo G Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g 32bit PCI2.2 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
MSI PC60G Turbo G Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g 32bit PCI2.2 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: This was the first Wireless network I've ever set up and it couldn't have been easier if you just follow the instructions. The antenna is nice, bottom of it is fake velvet, nice touch. Turbo G works good.

Cons: My router is downstairs, and I kept getting "Normal" signal status from the card, so I took a cup and stuck the antenna through it and put the cup upside down so the antenna is pointed strait at the floor and it gave me good. The cord is WAY to short if your PC's on the floor.

Overall Review: Excellent price for the quality. I get wired connection speeds with this when I combined it with MSI's Turbo G router. Check into that also if your planning on getting another router, that works great with this product.
