MSI RX2600XT-T2D512EZ Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Silent Heat Pipe Video Card
MSI RX2600XT-T2D512EZ Radeon HD 2600XT 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Silent Heat Pipe Video Card

Pros: Obviously silent operation. hardware DxVA support HDMI Price.

Cons: You can only use 1 analog output at a time. ie., you cannot use a dvi-vga adaptor and svideo at the same time as far as i can tell. i have spent many hours trying to get vga output from the primary (closest to motherboard) output to no avail. you can use dvi-vga adaptor on secondary output, but cannot also turn on s-video out. wont be a problem when i upgrade to hdtv w/ hdmi, but not able to do what i wanted for now.

Overall Review: make sure your case has a front to back air current ,also it helps if this card is in a vertical case because of the orientation of the fins, although if your air current is strong enough it wont matter. cannot put in first pcie slot if you have big typhoon hsf on your cpu, must use other slot if you have one. if you dont have sli/crossfire you cannot use big typhoon hsf.

SilenX IXP-54-14T 80mm Case Fan
SilenX IXP-54-14T 80mm Case Fan

Pros: very very quiet, you can only hear a slight clicking if you put it next to your ear. otherwise silent.

Cons: not really as much airflow as i was hoping for.

Overall Review: in hind sight i would have went with the regular model w/o the temp sensor. it was an impulse decision at a b&m store. i have 2 of these in an htpc. they are very silent but wish my system was a little cooler. probably wouldn't hear them at full power so no reason to get variable model
