Cons: Not really cons, but noteworthy: - Requires some planning - I removed the HD cage for my build, but with it installed, it would be a considerably tighter fit. - If you don't have a disk drive in, the flip down cover sort of flops inward and looks shoddy. Not worth deducting an egg as I'm sure most people will opt for one.

Overall Review: I've probably bought about $15k worth of parts from newegg over the past 10 years, and this is the first review I've written. That's the sort of case this is :) Specs i5 2500k (humming along at 4.1ghz) asrock 1155 z68-i 8gb gskill 1600 crucial m4 256 ssd xfx 7950 corsair hx-650 modular psu From the onset, I was planning to do this build with no spinning hard drive and no optical disk drive. I removed the hard drive cage and left it out. This really opened things up and made it a really pain-free build. I was even able to pull off some reasonable cable management. The 7950 (which is 10.5" long) fit with room to spare. I had a lot of fun putting it together and it sort of hearkened me back to my first computer build. It's a very well designed, wonder-inspiring case. Buy it :)

Cons: App support for retina will be trickling in / working out the kinks of a new technology, Making due without some legacy technology and ports (not an issue for most these days)

Overall Review: I'm not a fanboy. I've owned many desktops and laptops over the years (mostly windows based). The Macbook Pro with Retina Display (or rMBP) might be the best PC I've had to date. It's a premium product that won't appeal to everyone, but it provides a pretty remarkable blend of form and function. There are plenty of thin and light notebooks around these days, but most of them sacrifice CPU cores and a dedicated GPU. This machine sacrifices neither, with a quad core CPU and a formidable (for a machine of it's size) GPU. It's remarkably thin, incredibly well built, has a revolutionary display, and is an overall joy to use for work and play. Things will only get more interesting as retina technology becomes more mainstream. I would certainly recommend this product.

Pros: I have had it for about 4 months and it works great. I basically just installed it and let it be and it has given me 0 issues in 4 months. Chugs right along.

Cons: No onboard bottle opener.

Cons: Its heavy. I had it for a week and sold it to a friend who is completely in love with it. I just need something lighter. This unit is 18 pounds. I just ordered a couple 17s that weight 7.5 lbs each.

Overall Review: This product deserves 5 stars. I was dissapointed in fedex. I was leaving for a long weekend so I specially selected next day air shipping(at xx dollars extra). I ordered it monday evening and it didnt arrive until thursday afternoon. Sucked.

Comments: Unreal. Shipped at the speed of light/ this is my 4th lcd and its is by far the best I have seen, anywhere. Watching a dvd is like a dream. Its all that I can do to fight back the tears of joy. Vid card is out for rma so I cant test the gaming aspect of this unit yet. will soon. Cant give it any less then a 5. no dead pixels :) Just buy it!

Comments: This is the best case I have owned to date, and I have had about 5 in the past year and a half, ranging from a shuttle to a UFO Ultra Cube. I bought this thing for its perfect blend of mobility and functionality. I take it everywhere with me and it still hasnt even scratched. I just toss it in the back seat of my car with my lcd and go gaming. It is very durable. The completely clear case might be more scratch happy but this dark one isnt. The handle is my favorite feature and makes carrying it a breeze. The assembly design is very cool and fits together like a lego. buy this case, you wont be sorry! -BB
