Pros: My reason for choosing Bitdefender was, it's well rated & for its Safe Online Banking feature. The program was easy to install and is easy to understand. Does it work? I don't know. I was going to use Linux for banking but decided to go this way instead. The Online Banking feature seems to be well thought out, the way it isolates itself from the rest of the OS and the auto virtual keyboard feature for passwords is more than I expected to protect from keystroke loggers. I'm trusting Bitdefender on this as I have no way of testing. I have not tried using the VPN feature but I will as soon as I get the chance. If that works well for banking, I will probably expand and install Bitdefender on my other computers as well.
Cons: None so far. If I get a virus or my bank account gets emptied, that will be a definite con.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this to my friends.
Pros: Inexpensive, low profile and easy fit.
Cons: Installed in my wife's AMD mid size desktop. Seemed to run fine but then problems slowly started with her games blinking out and crashing. It got to where it lost all video. It's hard to troubleshoot without video and going back to the old RAM didn't help after that. Finally ended up having to fresh reload Windows with old RAM. Then briefly tried this RAM again and video problems started again. Now I'm not sure if it's because of AMD incompatability or just plain NG RAM. I'd try it in an Intel box but I'm afraid of messing up another one - it's not worth it. Her computer is again running with another brand of RAM but it was a lot of unnessary work. Probably not worth the time and messing around to send back, so money waisted.
Overall Review: RAM is a standard upgrade for all my computers and this is the first time I ever had all these problems. Can not recommend.
Pros: Arrived on time, well packaged, very small size.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I bought these items because they were on sale for a decent price and I think they will come in handy. Unfortunately they are still on my 'things to do' shelf. I'll update if they don't work as expected.
