I got mine at the special for $400

Sceptre 37" 720p LCD HDTV
Sceptre 37" 720p LCD HDTV

Pros: VERY SHARP PICTURE! I had bought a 32" vizio from walmart and took it back in a heartbeat to get this one at practically the same price with FREE SHIPPING. I placed my order a little before noon right before they ran out. The sound quality is AMAZING. It has a feature that is simulated surround and IT WORKS. I was going to hook this baby up to a 2.1 surround but.... No need. This baby pumps sound like you wouldn't believe when you tweek the audio settings. turn the bass all the way up and turn the treble almost all the way up. Also- The thingy that dumbs down commercial volume? VERY NICE! I make use of that 100% of the time! Refresh rate- Recently watched that episode of jesse james is a dead man where he runs 200MPH across the desert in a bullet car and the video didn't get choppy or blur ONCE. Now if I can get comcast to support WWE events in HD I'll be snug as a bug. ROFL.

Cons: What? No DVI port? That's a pity. Oh well time to find an S video adapter for that connection between computer and TV. And that's my only con, other than I've seen horrible reviews and it scares me, so far so good.

Overall Review: To the review regarding supply and demand: What did you expect? A TV for everyone? You try keeping supply of something at a killer deal! As for the ad: again, You try running a site with millions of items on sale and keeping things instantaneously updated 24/7 The box had a hole ripped in the screen side when it arrived, bit nails until I had it hooked up. Thanks UPS, drive my heart rate and blood preassure up. THANKS AGAIN NEWEGG! YA DID IT AGAIN!

Works like the day I got it.

Pros: Sharp clear crisp image. This says 720p but the box says 1080P and it DOES 1080P. If this is right for the distance between you and your TV then by all means do it. Bought this over a year ago (7/17/09) on a special for 399.99 and it still kicks like a higher dollar TV. 3 hdmi inputs. It has a headphone out which is good for 2.1 surround with 3.5mm input. I hooked one up to mine and it kicks hard in my little apartment. This is worth the buy. If you are looking for one of the best 37" flat panels that has the most bang for buck this is it. It's high quality with low price tag.

Cons: I would have liked more AV inputs but I can solve this problem with ease, a 30 dollar investment in an AV splitter selection box. Keeps it to where I can use my DVD and Wii without reaching behind to rewire.

Overall Review: If you turn the volume up loud enough on the TV you might notice a slight vibration in the speaker as if a panel or speaker wasn't tightened down good. I RARELY if EVER hear this out of mine. Only when I crank it WAY up and someone is talking in a medium voice (usually female) so as I said I rarely hear it make any extra noise. One last addition to my other thoughts is that I had a pixel to get stuck on red about 2 or 3 months into ownership. After hooking up the computer using D-SUB connector and running a program called UDpixel (undead pixel)(yes, it's free) and leaving it running for a few hours when I was scheduled to be out of the house, I came home to find my problem cleared up completely.

2 MONTHS LATER

Pros: Picture is still sharp. maybe a little dark sometimes but that's probably the loose nut between the couch and the TV. It survived me lumbering across a parking lot with it in hand during a move. Heavier than I remember. Thought it was gonna rip my arms off. ROFL No sound issues. No real issues of any kind worth calling tech support up over. All in all I'd do this over again in a heartbeat.

Cons: No complaints from me! Although I still say "What, no DVI connector?" No biggie. Svideo works quite well.

Overall Review: Had 1 pixel get stuck on red but after hooking it up to my home pc and using UDpixel for a few hours one night while I was going to be out and about it cleared up nicely. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE I PRACTICALLY STOLE THIS FOR $400 THANKS NEWEGG!!!
