Pros: This card is better than expected. I needed something to power a 2560x1440 monitor and this card does it very very well. I play alot of modern FPS games and this card takes it all in stride. It also runs significantly cooler and quieter than most cards I've had in the past. Fist time with Nvidia and I could not be happier, probably will stick with them from now on.
Cons: Price.. if I have to pick one con
Overall Review: I will no longer do or suggest multi gpu configs. I came from 2x 6970 and 1 6990 and 1 6970 for trifire from amd. Although it set up pretty easy, the headaches from the issues were just too much. 2 cards are fine and most games run well with multi gpu, but the microstutter kills the experience. triple cards is a joke. Crash after Crash and almost no game support was too frustrating. Sold everything to try one powerful single gpu, the gtx 680 and it is phenomenal. even at 2560x1440 BF3 can be played at max settings. it might dip to 30 fps but take off AA and you are looking at a constant 90+ fps.
Pros: its a 6970 and works like one
Cons: runs way too hot in a crossfire configuration. Even runs hotter than reference cards in crossfire. The box claims to be able to overclock 10-30% but it can only work at stock 880mhz clocks. even using CCC and moving it to 885, the bare minimum of overclocks it still crashes immediately.
Overall Review: Stock settings are fine. slightly thinner than reference cards.
Pros: Fast, fast, fast. easy to work with, can overclock pretty dang high. runs cooler than expected. price is fair. quad channel ram.
Cons: none. Or i guess no heatsink...
Overall Review: I use this for gaming and it is definitely overkill. at 4.65 ghz overclock and HT enabled, it never really gets about 50 to 60 percent usage in game. I have use handbrake a few times and this thing rocks with encoding. uses about 90 percent usage and gets videos encoded super fast.
Pros: lots of space, beautiful design, easy to work with. Front usb. 3.0, great cable routing. quick access side panel.
Cons: I really didn't want to take off an egg for this but every single time I put a cable through the rubber gromits, they came off. as much as I like them, it was a pain to keep reseating them. I wish they were stiffer.
Overall Review: I have the asus rampage iv formula mobo with the h100 cooler and it would not fit a push/pull setup, but this is because the heatsinks on the top of the mobo sit high up, not really a con but i was disappointed.
Pros: super cheap for both a great mouse and keyboard. The keyboard has shallow keys which are super easy to use on typing and gaming. the mouse is lighter than expected but still registers even at intense mouse clicking games, such as sc2 and LOL. had it over a year without a mouse pad and it still feels new.
Cons: the keyboard is a little too light and the rubber feet do not do much against any kind of hand lean. It can move on you a little bit.
Overall Review: if you do not need advanced features, get it
Pros: tons of features including adjustable lighting, profiles, hotkeys, ability to use the keyboard screen to monitor performance, and so much more.
Cons: I knew that getting a refurbished product meant that it had been previously used but I thought that it would at least be clean. The box was great but once I opened it up I was disappointed to see the insane about of finger smudges all over the screen, finger grease on the board, making it look like it was just used, hair and dust all in the keys, and a few scratches. I would think they would at least wipe it down real quick before selling it.
Overall Review: make sure to download the latest profiles off the website to use the board properly.
