exceeds expectations12/16/2012 12:27:26 PM

Pros: This card is better than expected. I needed something to power a 2560x1440 monitor and this card does it very very well. I play alot of modern FPS games and this card takes it all in stride. It also runs significantly cooler and quieter than most cards I've had in the past. Fist time with Nvidia and I could not be happier, probably will stick with them from now on.

Cons: Price.. if I have to pick one con

Overall Review: I will no longer do or suggest multi gpu configs. I came from 2x 6970 and 1 6990 and 1 6970 for trifire from amd. Although it set up pretty easy, the headaches from the issues were just too much. 2 cards are fine and most games run well with multi gpu, but the microstutter kills the experience. triple cards is a joke. Crash after Crash and almost no game support was too frustrating. Sold everything to try one powerful single gpu, the gtx 680 and it is phenomenal. even at 2560x1440 BF3 can be played at max settings. it might dip to 30 fps but take off AA and you are looking at a constant 90+ fps.

Pros: Fast, fast, fast. easy to work with, can overclock pretty dang high. runs cooler than expected. price is fair. quad channel ram.

Cons: none. Or i guess no heatsink...

Overall Review: I use this for gaming and it is definitely overkill. at 4.65 ghz overclock and HT enabled, it never really gets about 50 to 60 percent usage in game. I have use handbrake a few times and this thing rocks with encoding. uses about 90 percent usage and gets videos encoded super fast.

Pros: lots of space, beautiful design, easy to work with. Front usb. 3.0, great cable routing. quick access side panel.

Cons: I really didn't want to take off an egg for this but every single time I put a cable through the rubber gromits, they came off. as much as I like them, it was a pain to keep reseating them. I wish they were stiffer.

Overall Review: I have the asus rampage iv formula mobo with the h100 cooler and it would not fit a push/pull setup, but this is because the heatsinks on the top of the mobo sit high up, not really a con but i was disappointed.

surprisingly awesome5/1/2012 3:57:06 PM

Pros: super cheap for both a great mouse and keyboard. The keyboard has shallow keys which are super easy to use on typing and gaming. the mouse is lighter than expected but still registers even at intense mouse clicking games, such as sc2 and LOL. had it over a year without a mouse pad and it still feels new.

Cons: the keyboard is a little too light and the rubber feet do not do much against any kind of hand lean. It can move on you a little bit.

Overall Review: if you do not need advanced features, get it

Pros: tons of features including adjustable lighting, profiles, hotkeys, ability to use the keyboard screen to monitor performance, and so much more.

Cons: I knew that getting a refurbished product meant that it had been previously used but I thought that it would at least be clean. The box was great but once I opened it up I was disappointed to see the insane about of finger smudges all over the screen, finger grease on the board, making it look like it was just used, hair and dust all in the keys, and a few scratches. I would think they would at least wipe it down real quick before selling it.

Overall Review: make sure to download the latest profiles off the website to use the board properly.

it works1/29/2012 10:50:52 AM

Pros: its a 6970 and works like one

Cons: runs way too hot in a crossfire configuration. Even runs hotter than reference cards in crossfire. The box claims to be able to overclock 10-30% but it can only work at stock 880mhz clocks. even using CCC and moving it to 885, the bare minimum of overclocks it still crashes immediately.

Overall Review: Stock settings are fine. slightly thinner than reference cards.

Pros: Gold rated, 1100 watt, modular, decent price, looks.

Cons: cables are super stiff and not very long. I'm not a big fan of the flat design.

Overall Review: This is a beautiful psu. Its nice and shiny and comes with a zippable bag that holds the extra cables. It easily handles 3 6970's and an overclocked 1090t

better than expected11/20/2011 4:12:46 PM

Pros: 3 cores, overclocks well, possibility of unlocking 4th core. Handles anything the average user/gamer can throw at it on a budget. Price is a steal, especially when Newegg throws us some coupon codes.

Cons: Teasing us with the possibility of an unlockable black edition quad core. (mine didn't). Stock HSF is a joke. No L3 cache. That's all I can think of.

Overall Review: Still an overclockable beast with an H50, I got mine to 4.2 Ghz. Scores a 7.2 in WEI. I put this in budget gaming machine matched with a 5850, asrock 890fx mobo, and CM storm case/psu combo, and 4 gigs of super cheap PNY ram and it plays bf 3 at max settings 30-50 fps. Set it to medium and you are lookng at close to 100 fps.

Huh? couldn't hear you with my headset on8/30/2011 3:48:57 PM

Pros: sound is amazing. definitely feels like surround sound and fully immerses you in the game. nice braided cord too.

Cons: Bass or lack thereof. the volume control is too far down the cord and the cord is kinda long.

Overall Review: turned up the bass boost in creative sound blaster and that took care of the bass problem.

A great hdd8/30/2011 3:44:52 PM

Pros: Fast for a mechanical drive. Plenty of space for the performance and price.

Cons: 1 of the 3 that I have is just a little loud. but not bad with about 10 fans

Overall Review: 3 in virtual raid 0 hit just under 400MB/s read and 360MB/s write. that aint too bad.

A must have8/30/2011 3:41:40 PM

Pros: Keeps things cool. easy to install. I got my 1090t to 4.3 GHz (4.4ghz was unstable) and still barely breaks 40c in prime 95 after it runs a while. Idles at 26c.

Cons: instructions are pretty much useless. For AMD you need the original bracket that the stock fan/heatsink attaches to to connect the h100. For those, like me that are upgrading from the H50 know that the original bracket was not needed. I almost threw mine away.

Overall Review: For those using a HAF 922. A push/pull configuration may not be possible. I tried adding 2 extra fans and they were blocked by the RAM. Still a two fan setup is great.

wow8/30/2011 3:35:42 PM

Pros: fast fast fast. reasonably priced.

Cons: no 2.5 to 3.5 bracket. crystal disk mark shows 300 MB/s read and 150 MB/s write with 2 in raid 0. that's right 2 in raid 0. However ATTO and HD tune show 820+ MB/s read and write. so not quite 500+Mb/s a piece but its still great.

Overall Review: My first experience with ssd's and it was very easy and a great boost. My windows 7 boot now does not even go to the welcome screen, just straight to desktop. Highly recommend.

Pros: works great. powers two 6970's an overclocked 1090t 5 hard drives and about 5 case fans. with no problems at all. semi modular.

Cons: stiff cables. not completely modular.

Overall Review: highly recommended.

much better than wifi1/27/2011 7:41:22 PM

Pros: truly plug and play. It works great right out of the box. Internet speed tests confirm it has the same speed as the base direct connected computer and ping levels. Great for gaming.

Cons: price. It is sensitive about plug locations even in the same room. The ethernet connection is on one side which was the wrong side I wanted it on. I wish it came with a longer cable.

Overall Review: The three speed light indicators are a great feature. On the first plug I tried it was orange which says it is between fifty and eighty mbps. This is great if all you need is the internet. It often went from orange to green so I know it is a great speed. I plugged it in a different slot, even technically closer to the base plug and it was red. Tried it on the xbox and there wasn't any lag but in the same slot I ran a few speed tests and it was 3mbps down and 3 up. This was wwaaayyy tooo slow since my normal cable is 25 mbps down. Not that it matter for gaming.

worst than G1/25/2011 9:43:21 AM

Pros: Easy to connect.

Cons: Horrible range and speed. I had an older linksys wrt54gl router that has never had a hiccup and I wanted to upgrade to an N router so that I could have full bars on the computers/xbox/phones. Well after installing this the bars dropped even with N adapters. Speed also decreased by using speed tests and comparing results.

Overall Review: I tried changing channels and adding security to reduce interference but the results never changed. Extremely disappointed with this "N" router

great deal12/13/2010 9:35:51 PM

Pros: It works very well. easy to setup and extremely cheap compared to other active display port adapters.

Cons: cable is stiff

Overall Review: bought this for a three monitor eyefinity and I couldn't be more happy. it worked out of the box with zero problems. each monitor is 1080p and it claims to handle up to 1200p.

awesome12/9/2010 6:29:56 PM

Pros: keeps it nice and cool and not too too hard to install.

Cons: if you don't have a full size case you may have to take out the motherboard like I did.

Overall Review: Its pretty cold in my room around winter and the absolute highest I have seen my 1090t at 3.6ghz get is 30 degrees Celsius. That is with prime 95 going for a while. Lowest was 11 on start up/idle

Pros: This case is really easy to work with and very accessible. It has tons of removable parts with lots of space to work with. It comes with plenty of powerful fans and the ability to add more. Made out of sturdy material so no need to worry about it being shipped. overall a wonderful product.

Cons: black color shows too much of my dust.

Pros: plugged in and worked right away. no hiccups or unread discs. I only used it a couple of times to read the OS disc and a few games but it performed as it should.

Cons: makes a little noise on start up but that's it.
