Pros: Upgrading from a 9600 GT OC - Super Quiet - Same length as previous card - Has mini-HDMI 1.4 - HUGE upgrade compared to my previous card - Gladly excepts overclocking
Overall Review: I was recently playing a game (TDU2) and noticed my old setup just wasn't working. I could put it to Medium and that's as far as I could go. I threw this card in and I'm at Very High with 8x AA (as high as the game allows). I'm extremely pleased. Even more so, I have my 47" TV hooked up to the computer as well. Before, I had a DVI to HDMI adapter with a HDMI cable going to my TV and a SPDIF cable for sound. Since it's HDMI 1.4, I only need the HDMI cable now. That's one less wire.
Pros: Looks great, works great, plenty of on-board auxiliary fan connectors, CMOS button at the rear
Cons: Only 4 on-board SATA connections, if you need more.
Overall Review: I haven't had the board long, but it is working great. My old setup was a ASUS L1N64 with (2) FX-74's. The system was great minus it running at 55C and eventually melting something. Anyway, the SATA connector comment is based on the board I had before. The L1N64 had 12 connectors which made it much more flexible. Also, the motherboard has a bit too many lights for my taste. I was really happy with the results though. I got a Phenom II X4 965 (my serial number for the board started with "9B"), hooked up the aftermarket cooler, and plopped the board in. It booted up with no problems and Windows 7 couldn't be happier. AMD Phenom II X4 965 ASUS Crosshair III Formula ZALMAN CNPS9700 CPU Cooler (4) G.SKILL 2GB DDR3 1600 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ)
Pros: Excellent cooling, great fitment, decent price.
Cons: The fan was hitting the copper portion around it. A quick fix, but the lack of quality assurance bumped it down from getting 5.
Overall Review: It's a great cooler. The clip was a bit tough to press down, but it's not going anywhere, that's for sure. I had some concern that the fan was going to block some of the DIMMs, but no issues. It took up minimal horizontal space and I was able to access everything. My system is running at 30C, though I have nothing to compare it to before. With my excitement though, I installed it before fixing the fan issue 100%. It hits slightly as it's speeding up. I'll have to take it out and fiddle with it. AMD Phenom II X4 965 ASUS Crosshair III Formula
Pros: Huge viewing area, crisp display, lots of options
Cons: The DVI cable I got with it was messed up. Once I switched that it was good. Also, one dead pixel that is green and in the top left. I can hardly notice it though. Horrid speakers as well.
Overall Review: It is a great monitor for the price. The speakers aren't the greatest like everyone has said, but it's better then nothing. No issues as of now with a working cable.
Pros: The modular PSU is great. You use what you need and your case isn't cluttered with wires. It was well packaged and came with extra 'goodies'.
Cons: There are a few extra wires that aren't modular (two 6 pin connectors). I don't know if it can be used for PCI-E video cards and it doesn't appear to be in the manual at all.
Overall Review: Minus the extra wires that appear to have no use, it is a space saver with the modular capabilities. It offers plenty of power which should be good for the most extreme computers of today.
