good memory, good price
Pros: Good memory, and for the price, cannot be beat. Was kind of skeptical at first, but runs fine on my Asus P5L-VM motherboard.
Cons: None
Overall Review: haven't tried overclocking, but memory runs good as spec'ed.
Nice micro ATX board
Pros: Booted up first time with C2D E6420. No problems whatsoever. Firewire port is a plus (using this with my Presonus Firebox), since I do music recording.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Recommend this board if you are building a nice m-ATX based computer. I plan to upgrade my video card to either nvidia 8600 or 8800 level, still undecided.
I'm glad I bought it
Pros: Runs cool! Very fast....running this processor @ 3.2 GHZ on air!! Core temps never get above 45C full load (Orthos).
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Intel is back!
Nice board for the money
Pros: Not as nice as the DQ6, but just as fast. Stable out of the box. Great overclocking board for enthusiasts.
Cons: Put a 50mm fan on the NB cooler, you will thank me later. Wish it was SLI.
Overall Review: There are helpful web links that will help you get the most out of this board. So you won't be lost if you need help from other enthusiasts.
Ice cold
Pros: Keeps my E6600 nice and cool @ 3ghz. 20C idle and 33C load (1.45V). Gonna try higher
Cons: Big. Make sure you have room.
Overall Review: Best cooler for the money.
I can't believe it...
Pros: I have this installed on an Core2 Duo E6600 GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.3) F10 motherboard, with some Artic Silver 5. This thing keeps my CPU temps at 19-20C at idle and I have not even seen more than 30C when playing games (Company of Heroes, Supreme Commander) when stock. Upped the voltage to 1.45 and overclocked to 3GHZ. Still, 22C idle/32C load (according to Easy Tune 5). I have this in an Antec 900 case. Wow. Easy to install as well.
Cons: Kinda big? But who cares, get a bigger case.
Overall Review: For the money you cannot get a better CPU air cooler. Who needs water-cooling when you have temps like this??
