Look elsewhere, DOA
Pros: Arrived quickly, and was packaged well by newegg. GPU is very quiet. It has a logo that lights up if that sort of bling is your thing. That's about it...
Cons: Practically DOA, the system boots but there are artifacts all over my screen. I tried reinstalling windows 10 and the latest AMD crimson drivers, all to no avail. The artifacts get even worse once I get loaded into a game. When I switch out one of my other GPU's the issue goes away. The problem is definitely the card.
Overall Review: I knew I was taking a chance on this card after reading the other reviews. I told myself that I had never had a problem with ASUS in the past and thought that it was just a few unlucky people. Well I now join their ranks. FWIW: I have a Corsair AX1200 PSU and my array of Delta fans change the air in my case nearly 3 times a second (sounds like a screaming banshee so the quietness of the card is not really useful to me). I can guarantee that it is not an issue with power supply or cooling. The card is brand new and has NO dust buildup at all. I have enough airflow in my case that the GPU's integrated fans cycle between standstill and a lazy spin. I have no intention of trying to exchange the card for the same item, so neweggs exchange only return policy is of no use to me. Which I have no problem with as that was disclosed from the start. But with all the horror stories I've read about ASUS RMA as of late I'm afraid of how long I'll be w/out a card, not to mention who wants to pay shipping on a product that should have worked from the start. I can understand having to pay to ship the card to ASUS if the card died after a year or two, but if its DOA I take issue with that. Guess I'll just have to see if my CC company can help me out.
