Does what it supposed to do
Pros: It delivers a decent quality video to my girlfriend at college, What else could i ask for. Built i microphone works very well.
Cons: Didn't work on my Linux machine. Should have read the reviews a little closer. Can't blame the camera, they didnt design it to work on Linux, just like everybody else.
Didn't work well for me
Pros: Was very easy to setup, even as far as a home use router is concerned. Very pleasing to look at I guess.
Cons: Was always randomly booting users off of the network. Had to power cycle it almost daily in order to reconnect. Would boot my network printer and cycling it wouldn't even reconnect. Would have to reinstall it on the network. Toward the end it was taking the whole network down 2 or 3 times a week. Shouldn't have to cycle my router 7 or 8 times a week, especially for a big name not quite so cheapo router like this.
Overall Review: Got fed up having to cycle and reconfigure this thing all of the time. Took it back to Worst Buy (:p) after about 2 months. Good riddance.
Compatible with compaq presario cq56-115dx
Pros: Compatible with my new presario CQ56-115dx, which was seriously lacking in memory right out of the box. Computer booted right up without any hassle right away. Took my Windows 7 RAM score up almost a full point, to 6.1. Has a big assembled in the USA sticker right on it!
Cons: None really, not any faster than DDR 2 but uses lower voltage for a longer battery life so who can complain.
Overall Review: Since this is compatible with my CQ56-115DX it is most likely compatible with many similar models from Compaq and possibly even HP. If your laptop came with only 2 gigs of memory and has a 64 bit CPU then you really need to upgrade your RAM to maximize your performance like I did.
Cheap hard drive that works
Pros: Its a cheap hard drive that does what its meant to do. For the price you can't really expect a lot out of it.
Cons: None for the average user. If you wanted a powerful machine then I guess this wouldn't do for you but then you wouldn't be buying it anyway.
Overall Review: Every time I look at Western Digital drives I almost buy something else because a lot of people complain about them crashing so quickly. Well I've gone with Western Digital every time and I've never had a probelm.
Its Vista but, ya know, actually good
Pros: It's what Vista was supposed to be. It's quick, and reliable so far. Looks great.
Cons: Its basically just Vista to me except that it runs better. Its kind of like comparing Windows 95 and 98.
Overall Review: Since its so similar to Vista I won't be upgrading my desktop. I'll wait untill I build a new one. This is running on my brothers new PC.
Good cheap board
Pros: Cheap no frills motherboard for a basic system. Booted up first time without any problems. Does exactly what I need it to.
Cons: Some of the connections for the front audio and USB were on the opposite side of the board. My wires barely barely reached and I do mean barely.
Overall Review: Not using the onboard LAN connection so I can't report any on its reliability. But thats why i wasn't concerned with the apparent reliability problems to begin with. I always use wireless in my computers.
