MSI GS66 Stealth 10SF-683 - 15.6" - Intel Core i7-10750H - GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q - 16 GB Memory - 1 TB SSD - Windows 10 Home - Gaming Laptop

Pros: The Good -Sleek design, good graphics power, excellent load times for a laptop, and the refresh rate of the monitor is really nice. Additional keyboard colors add a nice touch and is more customizable that prior MSI laptop. Keyboard is well responsive (had issues with spacebar on previous MSI model) and has a good feel for both gaming and general use.

Cons: The Bad -The keyboard, despite having good keystrokes, is narrow. I've had to narrow my fingers closer together for gaming. The ridge between the spacebar and the touchpad is also pretty close, which makes it easy to miss the spacebar if you're not careful. Not having a number pad on the side reduces the size of the laptop, but can be a pain if you're used to having it. - Kind of a given with any gaming laptop, but it runs REALLY hot. Highly recommend a good cooling pad. The UGLY - The overall sound is LOUD, but almost atrociously so. Its nice that I don't have to crank the sound as much as I did for my old laptop (which was too quiet) but the sound, if it's set too high, feels forced and lowers its quality. Def. recommend a headset if you don't have one already.

Overall Review: -Gave it a 4/5 since its power alone makes it a nice laptop, but some quality issues in the overall layout of the keyboard and the sound keep it from being amazing.

Pretty decent laptop for pricing

MSI GP Series GP63 Leopard-428 15.6" 120 Hz FHD GTX 1070 8 GB VRAM i7-8750H 16 GB Memory 128 GB SATA SSD 1 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-bit Gaming Laptop -- ONLY @ NEWEGG

Pros: -Components are good for the price -Decent start up speeds -Good airflow throughout

Cons: -Sound quality is a bit lackluster, especially with the speakers on the bottom -The space key - there are times when it simply does not register, which can be a bit annoying. You really have to jam it sometimes to get it to work. -If you're used to a laptop then you realize the fans get quite loud, but if not, it takes some getting used to (I would say it was on par for the noise of my last MSI laptop)

Overall Review: My last MSI lasted 6+ years. I have seen people have issues with these laptops, but they tend to be isolated issues. I have had this computer for about a month now and overall I find it impressive for the price range. The processor speed leaves something to be desired considering I had a better one in my 6 year old laptop, but the overall load times are not much slower than before. With a decent cooling pad this stays pretty solid for temps. Less bloatware on this laptop than my previous one, too. Other than a few gimmicks, this is a pretty nice laptop, although not perfect.
