Pros: *works well
*lights that indicate power/ HDD activity
*sleek, metal, sturdy
Overall Review: Bought this for a friend, he really enjoys it.
The included cable has two USB plugs, but you only have to use the main one as long as you're not using cheap USB ports that don't supply enough power.
Pros: *Stable. I haven't had a random crash, BSOD, or otherwise with this motherboard.
*Very compact, but chock full of goodies!
*Easy to upgrade later
Cons: If you use a large graphics card, you have to remove it before you remove the ram. Also you have to install your RAM before your graphics card. No biggie though, definitely not enough to knock an egg of for.
Overall Review: This particular motherboard was my first ASRock product, but won't be the last.
I've bought two of these within a few months, both work well, as intended, no issues from either. Really love this board
Buy it already
*Good for gaming on med-high settings
*Awesome for budget builds.
*Easy to install with pre-applied thermal paste
Cons: heatsink is cheap, but works well and is quiet as long as you don't intend on over-clocking.
Overall Review: I've purchased two G850 CPU, and I have to say there isn't a really notable difference between the G850 and the G860, Same WEI rating, etc. i bought this one because the price of the G850 has shot over this one, despite it being a technically more powerful CPU
Cons: You're kidding, right?
Overall Review: I assemble and repair a fair amount of computers, and I've used this PSU in nearly every one. I haven't had to RMA a single onw
Pros: *Very stable CPU
*Works well for gaming (coupled with a capable GPU)
*Easy to install
*Runs at pretty low temps with included heatsink (30'C idle)
Cons: *Included heatsink is kind of cheap
Overall Review: The wires for the CPU fan are wrapped around the heatsink. I have purchased two of these and on both the wires had to be manually moved because they were causing the fan to not spin. After I moved the wires slightly, there was no problem.
Pros: *Works as intended
*Has never randomly lost signal
*Included software/ driver is non-intrusive
Cons: *USB cap is EASILY lost (lost it the first time I took it off, oh well.)
Overall Review: I bought this for connecting to my wireless router for LAN games, works well. Very low ping (30-50), despite being a wireless connection.
Pros: -7.9 WEI
-Worked fantastically for nearly a year
-Never gave me an issue (until death)
Cons: -Randomly wouldn't be detected by BIOS when I came home from work 8 months after initial installation.
Overall Review: Lost a lot of stuff, really peeved. SSD showed no signs of failure, just quit working.
Don't relax with this drive!
Pros: I've purchased 3 of these and I have no qualms with this product.
For the price this is the best card you can get!
-Great for Home theater or gaming
-Plays any game you want at 1920x1080 (might have to lower the settings to medium on some newer games, however)
-Doesn't consume tons of power
As I've stated I've purchased three of these things and all are chugging along very nicely. Still playing newest games without a problem (Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Deus Ex human Revolution, etc.)
-Very cool card, I've never seen the temps on this card get above 45' C
-Great for decoding H.264.
Handles 1080p video and BLuray like a champ, no jitters while panning, perfect picture quality.
-Great for dual-monitor builds
I've actually got one of these in my HTPC/ LAN PC and have it outputting to my TV and monitor at 1080p simultaneously.
Cons: No cons really, but if you don't keep the little fans clean and free of dust they can start making a little bit of noise.
Overall Review: I will probably end up buying more of these before I'm done
-Easy to install, very simple board
-High quality product
-After about a week and a half of use, no problems whatsoever.
-Good for ANYTHING, gaming, home theater, etc.
Paired with a capable processor this board is unstoppable.
Cons: The USB 3.0 gave me some minor difficulties at first, but after I reinstalled the software I had no problems.
Overall Review: I needed to repair my parents PC, because a certain motherboard manufacturer whom I will not be buying from again was taking literally months to fix a bad motherboard that I had already had to RMA twice.
This board works great
Can have a conversation through it
Cons: No real cons, but if I had to name one I would say that they are pretty flimsy and can probably be broken easily, but only if you're not careful with them and use them for any purpose other than a PC mic.
I feel like the sound could be a little clearer, but it's not bad
Overall Review: I bought 3 of these for playing over PC LAN for borderlands 2. They do the job.
Pros: They work as intended, not much to really say about blank discs.
The discs come in very nice, sturdy jewel cases
Pros: Works as intended, burns without problem
Plays bluray (with capable software, not out of box) and DVD
Cons: No cons really, but it doesn't come with software for Bluray playback.
Pros: -Very thick and sturdy cable.
-Cable moves and bends to easily fit anywhere.
-Video quality is excellent running 1080p resolution. No delay or fuzzy picture.
-Audio quality is also excellent, no fuzz or other interference.
Cons: No cons, this cable is perfect.
Overall Review: -Using Nvidia GTX 460
-Wanted to hook my PC to my TV across the room, this cable works fantastically.
Cons: Cheap casing, non-refundable, volume through this device is more than cut in half, expensive as hell, constantly drawing power
Overall Review: Feeling very scammed after purchasing this awful product
Pros: Lots of buttons.
Cons: feels cheaply made. more trouble than it is worth.
Overall Review: I suppose this mouse just wasn't for me. I went back to my 6 year old $15 optical mouse after about 3 hours of using this thing.
Pros: long cables, provide sound
Cons: They do not get loud at all, but then they are up at full blast the audio is horribly distorted. Tried endless tweaking with equalizers but to no avail. The moment I first heard these I could only grimace and curse. these are, without a doubt, the worst speakers I have ever heard. The sub sounds terrible, and slides around the desk while playing.
The remote ,with a volume slider straight from the '80s, is ugly as hell, The volume slider doesn't go up far at all.
I can not express in words just how bad these speakers are.
Overall Review: After messing around with these pieces of junk I decided to RMA them straight back to newegg for a full refund.
The cheaper Logitech speakers I bought alongside these (Logitech S-220) sound infinitely better, have stronger bass, go much, much louder, and are cute as hell.
I love Logitech, but these speakers are simply awful
DO NOT BUY THESE
Pros: Works great, very inexpensive.
Pros: -Provides stable speeds and connections for dial-up. I haven't had a single problem out of it. This is definitely the best modem I've ever used.
-Very stable with Windows 7 64-bit. this is actually the only modem I've found to be completely compatible with this OS. Works great with Windows XP as well.
Overall Review: It's a bit sad that some people still have to rely on dial-up internet in this day and age, but USR makes the experience a little better.
Pros: -Allows me to turn off power for specific outlets without the need to unplug, great for cell phone and laptop chargers.
-Works great, handy product
Cons: Every switch lights up, it can really light up a pitch-dark room if you've got all outlets turned on at once.
The color doesn't really go so well with all the black wires plugged into it.
Overall Review: Got for free bundled with Rosewill RNX-N4PS wireless router
Pros: -The CPU unlocked to 4 cores rather effortlessly with the ASUS M4A87T EVO motherboard. So far very stable, no crashing or overheating.
Perfect for PC gaming
-You can't really beat the great price, this CPU has no trouble no matter what I throw at it, and churns out solid performance in everything it does.
Cons: -The heatsink is not of the highest quality, but will do its job just fine as long as you're not planning on doing too much overclocking. It's quiet, but could be quieter. It's also not very aesthetically pleasing.
Overall Review: I have purchased two of these CPU's for different builds. I have only managed to get one to unlock. Both CPU's work well and show no signs of failing in the foreseeable future. Highly recommended product.
Pros: Great product
-performs exactly as intended, no issues installing, or getting the motherboard to recognize the RAM.
-The sticks have a very smooth look to them, the heat spreaders not only look great, but also do a great job of keeping the RAM nice and cool.
-Inexpensive, quality product
Cons: None to speak of.
Overall Review: I've always used G.Skill Ram in every computer I've had to repair or build. I've never had to worry about bad quality with this brand.
Pros: I bought this beauty on a tight budget along with the AMD Phenom II 555. It unlocked all 4 cores on the CPU with just a flip of the core unlocker switch.
USB 3.0 works like a charm, everything works just the way it should.
Overall Review: The pins for the power-on LED didn't match the cables on my case, but this is no big deal and was easily fixed
