I've Loved It For 5 Years

MasterKeys Lite L Combo RGB Keyboard and Mouse, Mem-chanical Switches, Zoned Brilliant RGB Lighting, Precision Optical Sensor with On-the-fly DPI Settings by Cooler Master
MasterKeys Lite L Combo RGB Keyboard and Mouse, Mem-chanical Switches, Zoned Brilliant RGB Lighting, Precision Optical Sensor with On-the-fly DPI Settings by Cooler Master

Pros: I've loved this keyboard so much. I live in Florida so it's always way too hot here. Being able to see the keyboard with beautiful turquoise lights was wonderful. Unfortunately after 5 years it's started to have some connection issues. It probably needs a good cleaning at both the motherboard connections and the USB connector. I don't know if it's simply time for a new motherboard as I've switched USB ports several times to get it to work, but sometimes it just stops working until you move it around (no, it wasn't because the cable was pulled partially out of the USB port). I love the touch of it, the sound of it, it worked perfectly for five years. I don't relish having to find a new one, but I do think I'll go wireless this time since I stopped playing video games on my PC.

Overall Review: I would purchase this keyboard again, but it looks like that's not an option. =(

Dead After Two Years

Hanns-G 23.6" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, HDMI HH-241HPB
Hanns-G 23.6" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, HDMI HH-241HPB

Pros: Crisp, brilliant colors, easy to set up, nice big screen. Never had a problem with it...until it died.

Cons: Died after two years of some type of power dysfunction, which doesn't make a lot of sense since I haven't moved it since I attached it to my desktop. It takes the award for the display that has lasted the very LEAST amount of time that I've owned since 1985 when IBM released their first personal computer. Snarky, but true.

Pros: I loved these cables. I bought two of them in 2015. They were easily to work with and I never had any problems until...

Cons: Unfortunately, one of them died yesterday. For some reason the gold piece and the plastic piece inside it pulled right out, leaving me the black receptacle with a bunch of bent wires coming out of it (bent meaning they had crimped each row of wires to bend a specific way). As they were bent, there was no way to straighten them out and shove them back in as they were kind of fragile. Since the warranty is only 1 year, there was nothing to do. I don't usually have any problems with cables. I have several back from the days of DOS 5 1/4" floppies that work fine and many USB cables from when they first came out. I'm a little disappointed that this cable failed so spectacularly after only 3 years.

Overall Review: I did purchase the product again, but honestly only because they were a better price than the ones in the stores. I needed several as I am replacing my cable company boxes (which they just increased the monthly rental fee for) with Roku devices. Roku has a Spectrum app so I have no compatibility problems and won't miss the cable provided boxes at all.

Love This Case

Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Expansion Ready: Internal 3.5" Bays & External 5.25" Bays, 3 Pre-installed Fans with Side Fan Mount Option
Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Computer Case, Expansion Ready: Internal 3.5" Bays & External 5.25" Bays, 3 Pre-installed Fans with Side Fan Mount Option

Pros: Sturdy (for my usage), roomy (have mini-ATX board in it), excellent price point for a box that has 3 installed fans. Case screws were easy for my old cranky hands to deal with.

Cons: None 2 years later.

Overall Review: I love this case. I'm a 56 year old woman who used to put her computers together back in the day when 1200 baud modems were all the rage. I didn't really keep up with DIY tech and went for a few decades buying cheap Compaq's from Circuit City. In 2013 I went back to creating my own beast and it was so wonderful to have a case that had 3 fans already installed. I've been using this case for weekly WoW raiding in all that time and the audio jacks in the front still work well. While most people want the USB 3.0 ports in the front, I use the USB 2.0 ports for my AT2020 USB Microphone and the other has my cell phone charger cord in it - perfect for the $39 price of this case in 2015. It's held up so well, was easy to install drives (although it came with one small SATA case to hold the smaller drives in the 3.5" bay - doesn't bother me because I use WD Black regular performance drives), was super easy to add a Blu-ray DVD player a couple years later after I already had all the power cords set for my hard drives and regular DVD player. The case seems very roomy to me (I have a mini-ATX board in it) I love this case so much, I'm buying another one as a back-up computer for my son to use when he comes to visit. It's a great price point for those trying to put together an economic build.

Works Flawlessly

G.Skill 32GB microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (FF-TSDG32GA-C10)
G.Skill 32GB microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (FF-TSDG32GA-C10)

Pros: Works right out of the box. I have a Motorola Photon, which is proprietary as all out and bugs the youknowwhat out of me with it's difficulty playing media. This card went in without formatting and when I moved my videos over to it, I found they would play directly off the card when they wouldn't play through the phone's media library (program) or any video app available on the Android market without problems. I used the app ASTRO file manager and simply tapping on the name from the "SD-EXT" folder makes them play beautifully. Through ASTRO there was no choppiness, no drag, they played excellent straight from the card. Maybe ASTRO needs to make a video player for the Photon as no one else seems to be able to make one worth anything.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: I love my Photon for the great video quality, reception, decent speaker and kickstand which allows you to watch videos without holding the phone, however, when I went to put the card in there weren't great instructions about it. You need to lift up the black rubber square piece over your SIM card in the phone before you can install this micro SD card easily. It doesn't look like you'd have to, but there you have it.

Good Little Burner

Pros: Shipping was QUICK, cost was good and this little burner does a GREAT job! The LightScribe one that came with my computer (a 3-4 year old Compaq Presario) was a piece of junk. I haven't noticed any of the overheating symptomatic of my previous burner and all the discs I've burned so far have come out spotless. Still need to test more in that regard.

Cons: It's a little lightweight in the CD/DVD drawer. My last one was sturdier. I might think twice about getting this item if I had younger kids who aren't careful using the computer.

Overall Review: It wasn't plug and play for me - I had to download a driver to get it to work (I'm still using XP). If you're used to getting the whole set up (braces, screws, etc.) you may be surprised that all you're getting is the burner itself. No cables, screws, no nothing but the burner. That's ok with me as this was a replacement, but it doesn't fit snug in my Presario case. I had to pull it out past the front a bit to ensure it sits atop the door to the bay underneath. Otherwise, it falls down into the empty bay below when you open and close the drawer. (Gonna have to figure out how to get other screw holes to line up with my case as there is only one screw in it right now.) I'm a performance girl, so performance is really all that counts with me and this item, so far, has it in spades. :D

I Like This Keyboard

I bought this keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. I love it! I use my number pad a lot when I type so having this available on a lightweight wireless keyboard was wonderful. Unlike other wireless keyboards, the keypads are big for my large hands which makes it easy to type. I don't use it a whole lot, but when I do I'm glad I have it as websites are starting to refuse to be useable with a desktop and simply aren't coding their features for anything but mobile devices. I don't like being told I have to put things on my mobile phone so I put it on my tablet which I only use for that app with my indoor wireless connection. Now that I have this nice keyboard, I can actually deal with what I must. SMH.

New Egg - Always Right On Time

New Egg continues to provide quick service from this third party provider. I love Perixx products and my mouse came quickly, was perfectly packaged and came with a $30 coupon for Hello Fresh. I haven't plugged the mouse in to make sure it works (ordered it as a back-up), but when it comes to computer parts New Egg has never let me down.
