Ignore the nay-sayers...this is AWSOME!
Pros: This fan is absolutely worth the money. The airflow is very powerful and directed. The hydraulic bearings are indeed silent and you only hear the air blowing. The LED's are extremely bright. Its quality made and sturdy, a trademark of cougar fans. I wouldnt hesitate to buy 3 more
Cons: the "quick attach" rubber pins it includes are nigh impossible to use. Just go with the classic screws as the 4 corners are rubber padded anyway
Ok for a cheap build
Pros: -large clear side panel -included fan has excellent cfm -has enough room behind motherboard tray for decent cable management
Cons: -very, very cheap metal -riser screws easily stripped out when trying to move them -expansion slot covers can only be removed once; they're like a soda tab, you break them off -front face panel could be fitted better
Overall Review: its great for a cheap build that is used for light duty components
Exceeded my expectations greatly
Pros: -Battery life is very long. Lasts me almost 12 days at the gym for my 75 minute workouts -charges very quickly -bluetooth connects easily and smoothly -sound is much better than i expected. The ranges are perfect, very deep base. Thats the advantage you get with the 40mm drivers. -all day comfortable. adjustable headband, i never got a sore head or ears. -not overly huge and bulky, but big enough to fit over my larger sized ears
Cons: -looks cheap on the outside
Overall Review: I wear these every day doing homework and going to the gym. on avg they get used 3-4 hours a day and i must say theyre incredible.
Pros: -Its modular -The flat cabling is really nice -The logo on the side of the pcu chassis is inverted on one side so its always right side up whether the fan is mounted up or down -Includes plenty of black zip ties and matching black screws
Cons: The spacing of the SATA plugs on the SATA cable are a bit close
Overall Review: Cool feature: the cooling fan adjusts based on load so its not always running "full bore". Not a feature you always find on smaller power supplies
A 10 ton truck for a load of folding chairs
Pros: -Its heavy duty - I personally like the cabling style -It wasnt DOA -No coil whine -Nice bundled velcro cable ties (instead of the one-time-use "zip-ties")
Cons: -Its heavy duty (see comments) -Cables had weird white dust on them when i opened the box. Had to take a damp towel and wipe them all. It came off easily though
Overall Review: This psu IS very bulky. The entire psu chassis is metal. Even the front plate you see in the pics is metal, making for a very "solid" feel. The cables look like they were made to wire a house. The plugs on the cable ends are as big as some wall outlet plugs! So yes, the other reviews are correct, the cables are this psu's worst flaw. However, if you like the heavy duty feel, and have room to handle bulky cables, its pretty nice. Also, the 3 fans on this only turn on when needed; a nice feature to keep your rig quiet when simply typing a word document
Worth it, but a misleading title to be aware of
Pros: -well constructed -Fan lights are bright and it moves a ton of air -Fan is not obnoxious -sturdy metal mesh (must have fixed it from when people were complaining of it being flimsy) -Perfect for a college backpck; not too thick or heavy -not too small to sit on your lap
Cons: -It will not fit a 17.3" laptop perfectly. it measures 10.5" deep x 14.5" wide; 17.3" laptops are around 11.5" x 16" However, for me who is using a 17.3" laptop for school and needed it to fit in my backpack and be light, it will do its job, which is provide airflow. -USB passthrough is a bit big -cord could be slightly longer -no way to store the cord when not in use
Overall Review: overall this is a great cooler as non of the cons were due to poor quality
