Pros: Cheap, colorful heat spreader, no issues. Built my sister a simple web browser / Sempron 2650 / with Gigabyte AM1 board, 120G Kingston SSD, This memory stick & $22 Antec case. Less than $200 shipped. I strongly suggest going up to the Sempron 3800 series quad core for 12 bones. Memory tested as advertised. I am no where near utilizing all 4G, just browsing, no gaming.
Overall Review: Guess I got a good stick, but it performs as advertised & flawless.
Pros: I can pull in all Cincinnati and Dayton stations from 45130 which is great with a 50" HD LG TV. This thing is tough because the black cover over the center was cracked when I got it, the package looked like it had been ran over with a tank. I put some clear silicone over the crack, let it dry overnight, & mounted it. I am impressed with this wounded warrior lol.
Cons: Shipping destroyed this thing, but a little protective silione and voila, I didn't feel like shipping it back.
Overall Review: With a great deal on the 50" TV from Newegg, this antennae, I get all the networks and more and no bill, no bills. Yea man!
Pros: Bluetooth Sub, easy menus, auto on/off with my new 50" LG TV. Lightweight. Rented the new Star Trek movie last night, feel I got my $ worth. During the surprise explosions & action scenes sound was just like a small movie theatre, decent bass, adequate, but I cant see 300 Watts rating. I would reccomend one to a friend on a budget.
Cons: Optical only like my new LG 50" TV, hummmmm lol. If I wanted to try my M-Audio AV 40's I cant. I knew this playing cards though lol.
Overall Review: Sub has less guts than i expected, but I'm not disappointed for a couple hundred bones.
Pros: Clean crisp image, LED, easy set up. For the money, I am happy, great picture.
Cons: Digital Audio out is only option. Awaiting 300W LG soundbar to pair up with this TV. Sound is weak like any TV.
Overall Review: Shipping was quick, not 1 knick on the box, I was shocked.
Pros: Cheap price, all lights worked, everyone has one or two.
Pros: I built my 1st mini itx and had no limitations for once. Chose a pair of M-Audio AV-40 speakers. Love my new board (MSI Z77IA-E53), but the sound from this inexpensive card with incredible sampling makes me laugh at the onboard sound and head straight to disable. This card tickles the AV-40's quite well, amazing clarity & definition.
Cons: Not much jingle to drop for benefits gained.
Overall Review: Ya research your speaker purchase but go with onboard sound? Doooooh ! - Homer Simpson
Pros: Powers 16g Ballistix, 840 Pro HD, 3570K CPU, MSI E77-53 board, 2 purple fans, & Xonar sound card without a hiccup. Fairly silent.
Cons: Mine had the side panel tab out of place and slightly damaged, like it was squished BEFORE PACKAGING. The box was not so I had to laugh at the QC decal. Speaking of Decals, I read a review on this PS & it showed a nice Corsair case decal. I didn't get one (boo hoo).
Overall Review: Newegg rocks.
Pros: I put replaced the Lian Li 140 - 120 stock fans in my 08B case, used purple sleeving, tie wraps, heat shrink. These are a pleasant lavender not an annoying bright purple. Have a purple keyboard, mouse, pad. It looks good with my AKASA All In One - 2 fan control panel.
Cons: none for the $ cheap & Perty
Pros: BUILD SPECS
Lian li PC Q-08B (with Xigmatek 140 / 120 MM Purple fans, sleeving)
MSI Z77IA-E53 board <> 16g Ballsitix Sport RAM
Samsung 128G 840PRO HD
Windows 7 Premium 64
Asus Xonar DSX PCIE 7.1 <> M-Audio AV-40 Speakers (YES VIRGINIA ONBOARD SOUND IS A JOKE LOL)
Corsair CX430-M PS
Rosewill RCX Z 300 Heatsink/Fan
Asus External CD/DVD Burner
Akasa All In One - 2 multifunction panel.
Acer 27" Monitor
WHAT A LIL SCREAMER, "BEAT ME, HURT ME, & MAKE ME WRITE BAD CHECKS"
Cons: 2 things I didn't get from Newegg,..............1 of them was opened (RAM) and actually dirty lol. 95 Tech Grad, 3.9 overall, ya just cant beat Eggland lol.
Overall Review: Newegg has gotten bigger over my years, but the service, shipping, packaging, pricing, selection..............it's my first stop in Favorites lol.
Pros: Copper base, quiet with my MSI E77 Mini-itx board. Looks good (red blades). $9.99 shipped at this price? I trusted my new i5-3570k with it, no regrets.
Pros: Excellent User manual with no unnecessary garbage. MSI BIOS is easy to use. Put this in a purple fanned Lian Li 08B (and USB 3.0 onboard header works perfect with this case) with 16G Ballistix Sport, 1 Samsung 840 Pro 128, i5 3570k, Akasa - All In One 2 control panel, Asus ext CD/DVD burner & a Corsair 430 Modular, M-Audio AV40 speakers & an Asus Xonar sound card. Wrapped all wires in purple loom. Used Rosewill Red Bladed CPU cooler ($9.99 & runs at idle lol) Awesome little build. Sound cards are very worthwhile with good speakers, what sound!
Cons: Only 1 USB 2.0 & 1 3.0 onboard expansion port. I cannot use my 5-1 card reader on my AKASA All In One 2 WITH A USB 2.0 LEAD.. I know there is some sort of SATA adapter surely!
Overall Review: Newegg rocks like they did a decade ago.
Pros: Price, it works, and has a high gloss finish. You wont need to bolt it, it says.
Pros: Everyone that sees it wants one. I bought one for my sister lol. Quick toggle to another color, not too bright, purple (really a Lavender) matches those new light purple 140 & 120 fans perfectly.
Overall Review: They make purple cable sleeving too. (Oh yes I am) in my new build. Purple mouse & pad waiting.
Pros: Price, Quality (replaced a reliable 21" Acer), Picture. I even spent $20 more than egglands lowest price but I understand pricing on hot tech items, win some lose some, like any comodity and I still luv my eggheads.
Cons: Package had been opened so I was leary of a dead pixel. NOT, thank goodness. No Swivel or adjustable height.
Overall Review: 1st item I've fired up on my personal mini-itx build. I hope everything impresses me like this slim beast. Feel like I'm at the front row of a high school drive in picture show lol. GET A 27" folks.
Pros: If you do bench work on PC's, this will be invaluable.
Cons: Outside cheap sata power adapter connector, nothing yet. 1st use was on a sata drive recovery. Power connector was so tight on the power supply end, I thought it was deformed. Unplugged it after 1st use and Pin 4 stuck on the power inverter converter end and was sticking out of the adapter. No biggie, soldered another connector from a fan I had but poor molding, workmanship.
Overall Review: Piddly break, but 1st use..................kinda ticked, but this thing will put jing in my pocket over time.
Pros: Yes, the speed of this lil booger. Ordered 11:45PM Sun B4 Christmas, delivered on Wed! Newegg & a restructured Fedex looking good. 10 y/o is happy, and I successfully built my 1st network, everything from newegg. Small & lightweight but you can feel its sturdier than most netbooks.
Cons: Smaller battery, its rated 4.8 hrs of use, gets about 3-3.5. But, why its a steal.
Overall Review: ALL my builds / upgrades I have used ASUS boards, cards, etc. So far ditto on their netbook. Asus quality, major retailer sale price, and free shipping, a no brainer. Gotta get one for myself now lol.
Pros: I have the BlueOrb on a fan controller & everything running low. My CPU temp has not exceeded 29c! Airflow is amazing with the 2 twin 120mm front fans & a 140mm top exhaust.
Cons: I run an ASUS P5Q ATX Board with a Blue Orb. Had to remove the top 140 x 25mm fan and replace it with a low profile (20mm) blue led fan and it cleared the Blue Orb, no big deal to me, the blue fan I got from Newegg is gorgeous.
Overall Review: Darn thing went on sale with free shipping day after I bought it, was gonna divorce Newegg & everything, till I saw the performance & outer beauty of this case, glad as heck I chose this case for my personal rig. WHY, I MEAN WHY doesent someone make a windowed sidepanel for this mega-seller? WHY?
Pros: 3.94 Devry Grad, I always monitor my power supply's performance & this thing is steady as a rock and very quiet with the fan set on auto. Nice lighting effect out the rear. And the real test,..this thing is heavy. A well built unit.
Cons: Loaded with an E7200 Wolfdale, 4G XMS, one HD & an old 8500GT Asus Video Card. Doesn't flinch but only 11.82 on the 12V rail. Not even enough to make me downgrade to 4 stars.
Overall Review: All the builds I have done, Newegg, Asus, Corsair and Fortron PS's. Flip a coin, both heavy, well made units with burpless output.
Pros: Why Asus? Excellent manual, instructions, etc. I got the v506 BIOS but again, with ASUS Flash Utility, a pre-schooler could do it. I hooked up an external meter & the Temp monitoring is within 1 Degree C. The overclocking software is awesome. Paired this with a E7200 Wolfdale, Rosewill 650w PS, 2g XMS, & a WD 320 SATA HD using my old 8500GT card. Wanted a budget screamer, got one!
Cons: Flashing the BIOS was a drag, but the v506 gave me no problems to begin with, smooth build.
Overall Review: Newegg fast as this chip.............
